    Hi Tychee,

There's a wonderful bco topic on letrazole/femara at

    https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/78/topics...

I'm on Femara for the third time and this time don't have the usual arthralgia and muscle pain...go figure!

Nice to have a break though.

Tychee, hope you can catch a break or find ways to help with the unwanted side effects.

Vitamin D seems to help with many of the aches and pains, so you might get your levels checked or just start taking a supplement.

    Healing regards, Stephanie

Tychee, I found my muscle and joint aches eased up after a few months. Or maybe I just got more used to it? But the fatigue contined to hang in there......

I also think that it varies by individual. I was on Anastrozole for two years and my se's kept getting worse, so I switched to letrozole about 3 years ago. My se's reached a certain point, then got no better nor wor, but I've been NED for 5 years so no complaints.

Tychad - For me it got a whole lot better after the first 3 months. I had headaches and all kinds of weirdness during the transition to zero estrogen. But that is past.

If you would complete your diagnosis and treatment history in your profile AND make it public, it gives us more context for your question.
