I know it's not breast cancer. Just watched the ESPY awards and this man's battle with leukemia left me with tears in my eyes.

    I saw that too! It was a nice way to honor and support him during his cancer journey. Did you see the baseball all-star game? They had Rachel Platten sing her Fight Song and everyone held up cards for who they were honoring for Stand up 2 Cancer. That brought tears for me, too. Cancer affects so many lives.

    It was very moving and so deserved! He's giving this battle every ounce of energy (yep, I called it a battle & yep, we know what it feels like to try to muster up energy!). I hope he continues living well...and I missed the All Star moment, Groovy...taking grandsons & new puppy for a walk...but husband relayed it, also with tears. We have so much loving support...may it all lead to a cure for all this crappy cancer. I have 2 friends, one a lifelong friend & grandma, one a friend through my daughter...whose 6 yr olds just got dx with 1-brain, 1-liver....my heart aches even more when that happens. Onward!!!
