Halaven and racing heart

Anyone ever had a racing heart on Halaven? My mom has a resting heart rate of 130. She's been to the cardiologist and everything looks fine. I can't seem to find anything about this online. It is shrinking tumors so that's a plus but she gets so out of breath due to the fast heart rate. Just wondering if this will go away when she goes off halaven

    Your Mom should let her medical team know what is happening. If the treatment is working, it's probably not a good reason to leave the protocol. When I get these racing heart moments, I take an ativan. Your Mom should talk to her doctor about medications that can treat her tachycardia. Like your Mom, I'm having a good response to Halaven.

    The oncologist is the one who sent her to the cardiologist. They've run all kinds of test on her heart and everything looks good. They gave her some beta blockers to see if it would help but it really hasn't. They just gave her some potassium to take since it is low. She has a really hard time walking because she gets so out of breath. I'll mention to her to maybe try out Ativan but it does seem like it is pretty much all the time.
