Starting Doxil on Monday- any info would be great

Hi ladies, I dont post much but always come looking for info when needed. Taxol has failed me, lasted only 6 months. Have a new 3.5 cm tumor in my liver and I am starting Doxil on Monday. Any info on what to expect would be great. I had no issues with Taxal, found it easy. Now just worrying about starting something new.

    Hi Suebus…

    Sorry you have to switch treatments, and I certainly know the anxiety that comes with that. I was on Doxil last summer, and found it pretty tolerable. If you search "Doxil," you'll find the thread that I started, "Doxil!," as well as some others. My main issues were problems with my feet, and a body rash. The nausea was controlled with meds. It's not a horrible chemo, and nice that it's given every three weeks.

    I wish you great success, and few side effects!
