5. Can this thing be detected by at least one of the five human senses?

5. Yes, it can be detected. Good question!!!
-
Go for it Badger!
-
so it can either be seen, heard, tasted, touched or smelled!
6. Is it music?
-
6. It is not music.
-
7. Is it something that you smell?
-
Sorry, I started watching the repeat of the last episode of Downton Abbey tonight and missed your question ML.
7. No, not something you smell.
-
8. It is a particular sound?
-
8. No particular sound.
-
9. Does it have to do with some kind of testing...ex. Radiation
-
9. No, nothing to do with testing.
I'll be back later this afternoon and looks like I might have to start a few hints!!
-
10. Is it something you taste?
-
11. Can it be seen?
-
10. No, not something you taste, but
11. Yes, something you see.
-
Hmmmm...something that you use that you can see but can't touch.
-
HINT: Everyone in US has one. And people in most other countries too!!!
Where is everyone? I haven't seen feelingfeline in awhile either!!
-
Dunno about everyone else, but an anti-crazymaking appointment with MO this afternoon for me.
(scratching head) Everyone in the US (and most other countries) has one.....hmmmmm.
-
I keep thinking of a bank account? IDK.
-
ML, Don't know if you intended the last as a question so I won't count it, but it's not a bank account. Not that bank account is close but you're thinking along the correct line in that it's (HINT) more of a label on a thing as opposed to a physical thing you can touch.
Queen, I hope your MO app't went well.
-
12. A title? (ie. Mr., Mrs., Miss, etc.)
-
12. No, not a title, but I think we're on the right track to get this in less than 20 questions!!!!
I've got to go get some dinner on the table but back later.
-
(Yes, MO appointment boiled down to "You're doing fine--see you in three months." We scheduled my next/first since diagnosis mammogram, but even that's simply standard-of-care, not because he thinks it'll find anything.)
.....but still thinking of 'something you can see, which most everybody has'.
-
13. A nickname? I'm confused.
-
thinking out loud...no question here.......do you guys think address, or phone number, zip code, ?? What do you guys think
-
13. No, not a nickname, but susan you're on the right path!
Queen, I remember those "first" appts after surgery and treatment. I had become so used to learning about something else or scheduling some new appt, it felt a little disconcerting when the doctor told me I was doing fine, and we'll see you in 6 months!!!
-
14. (puzzled, tentative) Mailing address? (in the sense of a point at which we receive paper mail)
-
14. Not a full mailing address, but I am looking for a (HINT) part of an address!!!! Real, real, close!!!
-
I need to get to bed early tonight and won't be available much of tomorrow so I am going to say that, even though she didn't pose it as a separate question (Alex Trebek would not be happy!!), susan has listed the correct answer:
A Zip Code, or postal code for the Canadians and many other countries. We all have one, but we can't really touch it, just use and see it (and write or type it)!!! Thanks for playing this hard round!!!
Susan, you're up!!!
-
awe thanks......I won't be around to run the next one. I jump in later for a turn. Leaving for Michigan Thursday and got lots to do.

-
