SAS. Yea ! It's finally here. Sweet. Vacant wait to roll up my sleeves and get busy cooking some new recipes. Thanks !
-
-
oh yea. Also been passing time with my adult coloring books. I had no idea that this would entertain me so much. Now gotta make room on fridge for moms coloring. Lol. Ds's won't color with me but they like to laugh at me about it. I don't mind. They are laughing and I am upright. I'll take it for today.
-
She hooted to see if anyone was awake, then went back to sleep. Ms. Chevy was probably sitting there in front of her computer tapping her fingers waiting for you to come back. She is probably napping now. Hah!
Well Miss Patty, I was going to ask what you did the day before to put you flat on your back again. I am glad to hear you found some relief. Take it easy my dear. How is trip planning coming along?
-
Boyd, I was told to ice the biopsy area to keep the swelling down. I had ultrasound guided core needle biopsy. Crazy me went and played badminton the next day because I needed to get rid of my nervous energy. Got a hematoma from that( I am right handed and biopsy was done on left side).
-
wow Patty! Yours are so intricate! My unfinished purple cow.
But it helps when I'm feeling stressed.
-
Jazzy, thank you so much for the link to the video! It looks very interesting. Love documentaries. I plan to watch that latter this afternoon with my Dd2. DD1 flew to southern Cal this am with her friend to visit a potential university she would like to attend. Mybaby is growing
-
Coloring helps with stress? You both inspire me to take up coloring now!
Eeyore, the last time I climbed a tree was maybe 35+ years ago. Fell down and got the wind knocked out of my lungs too many times. Last I checked I am only one chromosome away from being a monkey. Hah! Yes, I was born in the year of the Monkey. My nickname given by dad was Monkey because I could not sit still as a kid.
-
Feline, yes, that was in Florence, Italy. Many beautiful churches there. The picture was taken on the side of the Santa Maria del Fiore. I love the countryside of Italy though...more serene and less tourists.
-
Sorry for taking up the spaces. Can't seem to do long posts without loosing them.
-
spookie. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing your purple cow. Paper looks huge is it on a easel ?
Chelle. Glad to know I am not coloring alone
Loverly. - yes it is a major stress reducer for me. I can literally pass hours doing this. I'll lookup and think where did my morning go?? Ohwell I have all-day to get chores done since I do not work. Still working on finding that balance of getting out and having fun and not overdoing it so I'll be out the rest of the weekend. Hmm. Have def decided to wait til the weekend after valentines to celebrate. Ds1 has school dance that Friday and ds2 has s soapbox derby race at church n that Sunday night. Iam sure the guy we will have to stay here while we are gone ( dss dont want the word babysitter to be used ) would take both boys to their events, but I WANT to do it. Making memories.
Hootie hoo
-
no, very small book. Bought it on a whim, wasn't sure I'd like it. Got a small pencil set, didn't want to have a lot invested if I didn't like it. It does help me with stress. Like Patty, I get involved, and forget my problems for a while.
-
Loverly! That is right! I kept waiting for Peppermint to come back, and NOTHING! I was there talking to myself! Hah! Then she finally wakes up and posts pictures! PICTURES of her handi-work! She probably started coloring and forgot all about me sitting there!
Then Spookie is copying Peppermint! They are in cahoots together!
-
-
chevy. Oops. I fell asleep sitting straight up in the chair. Woke up as couple hours later and I was stiff everywhere from my sleeping position.
Spookie. Well if i am gonna be in cahoots with someone. I am glad it's you.
Bbl
Hootie hoo
-
Well, I'm glad you slept! Hah! I should hook up an alarm or a siren to your computer....! And when you don't answer, I'll just ring your bell!
-
yes please that'll work. You may have to include something to shock me. I sleep extremely hard after taking pain meds. 🙍
-
Some pain meds will do that to you. Slept ashard as these folks???
I'm sure I have done it in public on long-haul airplane rides (gracefully, of course). Hehe
-
Ha ha, Enerva would like those photos. She rides the train to her job.
-
funny!! 😜
-
-
loverly. Too funny !! Glad I was home and not been in public.
Oh chevy. I could just kiss that lil nose. How adorable !
Sas been here today. ? Y oo hoo. Just saying thanks for the taste of home cooking magazine.. So excited to get some new ideas.
Spookie. Still thinking about that purple cow of yours. How original. I had to go back and look at it again. Love it !!!
-
I think that's why adult coloring has caught on so well. Nobody is hanging over you saying do This, or That. Old song🎶It's your thang, do what you wanna do🎶I can't tell you who to sock it to.🎶 And if you mix grape soda and ice cream it's a purple cow too. Hmmm that sounds good.
-
love that song spookie. I've never had a purple cow. Sounds yummy.
-
who's the group that recorded it?
-
if you haven't checked elsewhere, Sassy tripped and hurt her shoulder, so not typing much. She'll be back!
I have an ultrasound on Monday morning. Pretty sure it's not going to show anything. Been trying to rack my brain to what I might have done to make my stomach hurt again. The only thing that's changed in the last couple weeks is that I started doing wall push-ups. We are kayaking in about 10 days and I wanted to help build up some muscle. Wonder if that's what did it?
Hope all are having a nice weekend.
-
Chevy, System Restore. That's it ! I knew something was missing. Did a face plant at the front door. Flip flop caused a flop. Egg whatever on the forehead and right humerus is real unhappy, It'll be a year or better fixing itself. Always sumpin. Donnie's been so sweet taking care of me. So sweet.
Boyd, haven't a clue. With that many concerns probably ought to get your doc to look at it. BUT YAY B9, love to hear those words. Congrats!
Mags ditto on the bod. It was like some sort of damn broke and washed right over my butt. Now the gut and the fat arms UGH. Donnie eats 3-4x's what I do and he's skinny as a rail.
-
Kathy, that is so cute...........but now you have to keep the secret for a whole week. It'll be such a long week. Have you met his parents? It'll be interesting to hear what you think of them. Such manners
Loverly, you are so right about our universe. So, many of the animal & bug posts I've never seen before. Thanks for finding so many
Patty, hope you are feeling better, I'm with you. Total body pain TBP.
-
jazzy, that is just beautiful. The whole thing color, the families. Thanks
Patty, I got mine too. I love their recipes. They keep it simple. I had a subscription for years then fell away when the trouble started. You likely will get sample copies of the other Reiman publications. Birds, barn, country. They have a bunch
Let's share which ones we like the best?
Smarrty, Thank you my friend for keeping track of me HUGS......Yup, wall push ups could have done it for sure.
-
I picked this up at the side of the road last week or so. Started to use it. Was nicely working up on the time. That's my theory on why I fell. Started doing the good thing---------slammmmmmmm. Mines not as fancy as this one, but it was free. Trash picking. Got 6 chairs too.
