copper depletion to prevent BC ANY INFO? ANYONE TRIED THIS?

Hello there,
I have been following Dr. VADHAT's work with copper depletion to prevent reocurrance in breast cancer, and triple negative BC. Has anyone participated in this trial or tried it off trial with their doctors? The phase III trial has been halted due to the pharm. company that uses this method and drug for wilson disease, is not allowing the large scale testing of their drug for testing.
I am going to try and collect info to convince my mom's oncologist to try this for her.

It can be helpful against TNBC but can cause anemia and other side effects. I have also read that when the therapy is stopped, it can make the cancer return more aggressively. If your mother goes on it, she should be followed closely by a doctor who is familiar with it.
