Has anyone had their blood pressure crash while on letrazole? I did have 2 glasses of wine for dinner and the book crashed in the middle of the night

    Dehydration and alcohol can lower your blood pressure drastically. Have you kept hydrated?

    I haven't had any issues - have been on Femara/letrozole for 6 yrs.

    Question - why/how do you think that your BP drastically dropped during the night? Did you (someone else) check it?

    As sandilee said dehydration can effect BP, especially when in coordination with alcohol injection.

    A call to your Dr might be in order.

    Has anyone noticed weight gain with Letrazole? Am five years in and have been on Tamoxifen whole time. Gained at least two stone over the five years( possibly aided by wine chocolate and enjoying life) but since I stopped Tamoxifen and Venlafaxine for hot flushes plus increased exercise I have at last lost a stone. I am putting off starting the Letrazole as I feel so much better at the moment but iofcourse worry about not taking it. Any advice?

    Ado - I've been on Femara/letrozole for 6 yrs next month and have not gained any weight. I have not had any issues with 'hot flashes' on it but then I did not have any issues when I went through natural menopause at 44 in 1990.

    Thanks Kicks. I think I need to get on and take it especially as a friend diagnosed same time as me has now had second mastectomy as it came back
