Feeling good. Finally kicked the colds to the curb at Christmas. Snowfall here has pretty much been nothing. Had 60s and 70s here Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Might see some snow this week, but right now its raining today

Feeling, your cat Arthur sounds like my furbaby, Princess. She's not tiny, just petite in size.

Hole-In-One, I posted this on W&F's. It's right up your tennis court. I think this little story will circulate for years within the sport. Pretty special. have you ever seen anything like this before?

sas, Patrick rafter an Australian player, always did that. He was so nice. But if the ball was in, they didn't have the challenge" then, he would correct the call for his opponent and say it was in.

Good morning, owlettes! I think I'm a little better today, DH served me French toast in bed and it was mighty fine. I'm going too roust myself out of my chair and have a shower because we're going out this afternoon. It's DC's birthday – she's 79 today – and we're taking her to TGIFridays for her favorite baby back ribs in Jack Daniel's sauce. DH was going to take my car to get it washed but the battery is dead because I haven't driven it. I really must get better at that. I think the last time I drove it was shopping before Christmas. This will be my first time out of the house since New Year's Adam.

Ok I'm going to do it now.

Okay, I can't stand keeping this a secret. I've told Falls and Loverly b/c they were involved on the Toradol thread. Dr. Retsky and his wife are coming for a visit. He is one of two researchers that I started the thread b/c of their research. Have been corresponding with Dr Retsky and Dr. Forget since. So, the Retsky's are in Florida for a conference at the end of Jan. I was going to drive to Miami to meet them. They decided to drive rather than fly. They wanted to meet on their way back. I offered for them to come here, they accepted. OH VEY! I'm excited :)

I'm going nuts with thinking preparation and food. Exciting. Di is scheduled the day before and the day of for a couple of hours. Takes all the work off me for house prep. I asked them -meat-fish-vegan? They chose fish. Fish is tricky. Decided on Bouillubasse. Loverly found a crock pot recipe. I've read a bunch of recipes and will combine interesting aspects from many. But the crock pot will be how it's cooked. Thank you Loverly :)

You know me, can't do anything without looking at the history. Oldest recipe is from 600 A.D. Had to learn about saffron. It started to be used in the late 1800's. Ordered it from Amazon, wide variance in price from 4$ to 1600$. I chose one at 21$. Plan to do a test run and divide the dish. One with Saffron, one without. Apparently, it's an acquired taste, I found that out today from the another costumer at the wine store. (long story, LOL, like this isn't long).

Dinner parties with folks that don't know each other can be tricky as you likely know. I invited my dearest friend & DH. She is marvelous. She can keep the conversation going while I'm serving and fussing. She's excited too. She knew right away the significance of them coming.

Explained to Donnie last night what house fixing I'd like to get done. First was the screen enclosure and deck. It's done yearly, but this is a bit early. Asked that he start soon. By the time I woke up he had it near complete. The rafters over the middle of the pool aren't done. To do that he has to get a 12 foot ladder in the pool. Pool is 72*. I understood :) He had 3 weeks to get it done. God bless him :) Plus, we got down the Christmas decorations(most). All before 3pm.

If Retsky's and Forget's research pans out they could get a Nobel. Certainly, the thanks of many. Dr. Retsky has published some 160x's. He, also, is a colon cancer survivor. Plus, he's a nice guy. This is very fun.

Hahahaha Good one Ms. Chevy. Is it me or is it because of what is shared on this thread? You laugh and cry in one seating.

Ms. Sas, not sure why I cry watching that video? I know which door I would choose. I have to remind myself that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I am nervous and excited for you with the visit

Welcome back Mommy!! You ought to read page 1052. How did you do on your writing class?

FF, love that picture of Arthur by the way. What setting did you use to get the depth of field for that? Glad I gave you a good laugh with the prosimian ;)

OMD I peed myself on #5, Then puckered on #6. Everything on the list is so true.

Thanks re: the visit. It's NEAT to have excitement versus our BC stuff. Not a day goes by that BC isn't part of us. I do try to ignore it. Yet, I have oodles of things happening literally from the top of my head to my the bottom of my feet. They each make themselves known in a variable or constant fashion. Some I can put on ignore i.e tinnitus. Tinnitus is always there, but when you are thinking and concentrating, it goes into the background. The moment you think of it it's there. Right at this moment.....I said "Tinnitus is loud till you think of it". Now. It's so low. Why? What is going on right now to make it very low. Smoking and drinking wine? Raining ? Chit. Hmmmm. Feel like I'm coming down on an airplane. Barometric pressure must have dropped. OH well, it'll get better.

Okay my friends, being pushy on this one. It's the Dove thing on beauty. Don't want to force you through a door. But I found this a striking thought. The only one that answered was Susan. I have many thoughts on the video. Don't want to share now. But let's consider different times, different places, different...............

What causes you to go through one door than the other

    hmmm.

i would probably be like that woman that turned around. I dont have a lot of confidence, especially right now.

and is it just me or were all the women they interviewed exceptionally pretty?
