Cats, cats, cats

Conor has been patiently waiting for Santa. And finally Santa brought him some catnip.
But here he is waiting. Under the tree.
-
Aaah. I wonder if i feels like a lovely safe place, you know the way cat's like to get into cardboard boxes etc, maybe a tree is shelter also.
-
No, I think it's part of his "tree adoration". He just loves the tree, I've posted how he just sits there and stares at it. No idea what his deal is, maybe he likes the shinies. He never attacks anything though, the only things they play with from time to time are the pinecones I've put under the tree for that exact purpose.
-
That is so adorable - kitty under the tree and adoring it!
-
-
And also possessing it. When anything new appears in a room, the cat who sits on it owns it, right? Territory.
-
exactly!

those two images come from a little checkout book called That Fat Cat about a cat called Kafka. Great name! I bought in the UK on impulse for about 20p stg (30c or so) when I was about 20 yo simply because I LOVED the expressive cat illustrations. Conor reminded me of it (tho I think Conor is not so plump) and I fished it out. Googled it and it now sells 2nd hand for £20!! Wouldn't sell it tho.

The Brown Cat wishes everyone a happy holiday!
-
Wow! Great photo - his eyes are huge! Did you surprise him with the flash? Hard to surprise a cat.
-
I think you are right. It's like he's saying "Dis muh tree".
And the brown cat is gorgeous.
-
Hee hee. I love this thread. It always cheers me up.
-
-
definitely want to cat today
-
Me too!
I'm actually starting to worry - it's been close to a month that I'm horribly sleepy and tired. Actually more sleepy than tired. Even with all my issues I normally still am able to do a lot of things and keep busy, but I don't know what's going on. Maybe it's the weird weather we're having. Today I woke up at 5 am (my usual) had a cup of coffee and laid on the couch to wait for my morning pain killer to take effect. And promptly fell asleep. Rinse and repeat at 9 am. I finally was able to get up close to noon and start cooking and baking - I should have been done by then!
But yes, once I'm done with that I'll be a cat til Monday at least. Winter storm is coming for the week-end in our area.
-
Hope you get a good rest during the holidays Seachain.
Happy Christmas to all!
-
for your Christmas cheer.
Cats rule

I just wanted to post a picture of a cat that I am pet sitting for a few days. Her name is uli and she is a Russian Blue. She is really friendly and cool.
-
Meowy Catmas everyone
-
I wonder how they get photos of cats with all of them looking at the camera. And with hats, it must be much harder.
Uli is really pretty.
-
-
Meowy Christmas to you all! Max and Mozie must have been really good this year. Look what Santa brought them:
-
That's awesome!
-
that is an awesome tree!!
-
Impressive castle!
-
My foster fail hoons...Moppet is a big All Blacks fan
l
-
Right?
-
Exactly, Julie!
-
Kiwi, that's funny about your cat being an All Blacks fan. DS had two cats in Japan that would sit and watch the Boston Red Socks (he had satellite TV and would tape the games).
