This is about Conor, my long-haired.
He always lays in the middle of the living room with his tummy up waiting very patiently for someone to pass by and rub his fuzzy belleh.
-
Kiwi I got tears about the elderly cat. Thank you and all your volunteers for what you do.

Conor

We had cats that loved cornbread. Whenever I made it, I would have to put it on top of my hutch or refrigerator when they weren't looking to keep it away from them.
-
this is Parker this morning. Usually she only sits on my lap when I'm on the toilet! She must be sick. Haha.
-
The shelter had 9 cats adopted yesterday. One was 14yo. Only 2 were kittens and older ones at that.
-
This is a feral cat in our neighborhood that I call guard cat. He growls at strangers who come on my porch and won't let DD's dog come up on the porch.
-
Beautiful kitties! Great news for the shelter Wren!
Babysat five one week old kits last night. Feedings every two hours. I'm tired! They are in foster care now. Photo isn't great. The bigger ones were about as long as my palm.
-
So tiny!
Kath - Guard Cat looks so like an ancient Egyptian statue!
Lovely picture of Parker!
-
Wren that was SOOOO great that the 14 yo got adopted!
-
Guard Cat's long lost twin
-
My cats are very well behaved and never molest the Christmas tree.
Nevertheless, the long-haired is mesmerized by it. He would spend hours laying down near it and looking at it with adoration.
-
Well you put it up for Conor, right?
-
Love all the pictures of the cats with trees! Here's a couple of Victoria.... She never touched the tree. Unfortunately I don't have any of her laying under it, gazing at it, just like Seachain's cat.
A "friend" of ours bought Victoria antlers one year. She was absolutely not impressed at all.
-
Conor is so beautiful. And Victoria! Beautiful kitty and definitely not impressed.
-
She's so gorgeous! And seems to have the same expression near the tree.
I got my guys "Santa's little helpers" outfits - actually it was just a scarf and a hat, but they've both been "not impressed", Here's Seamus's face, you can see he has not just a "I'm not impressed" face but it even goes into the "you will have to go to sleep sometime, and then..." one. What I found hilarious is that when I snapped the pic, Whisper was yawning in the background and it looks like he's laughing real hard at Seamus.
-
I had to come and post again on this because I forgot. Unlike Seamus, Conor actually can really enjoy being dressed up if, and only if, once I dress him up I start telling him that he is "gorgeous and beautiful and so pretty and such a sweetheart". Here he is posing trying to look at his best while I'm praising him.

Seamus and Conor. Love them!

We had an open house at the shelter to show off our remodel and were mobbed. I think we only have 3 dogs and 3 cats still available for adoption. One was FIV+, one was 15yo, several were obese. And of course the kittens were all adopted first thing. All the cats that were available on the 11th, which is my shift, have been adopted. It's so nice to see them all find forever homes.
-
That's awesome, Wren!
-
Great news! So amazing that the FLV+ cat found a home, poor thing. And the 15 yo. What wonderful people.
-
Got the adoption total from yesterday: 11 cats & kittens found forever homes. The door came off one kennel and the cat just sat there; didn't bother him a bit. He was adopted already.
-
Lovely!
-
Wren what an amazing day. Was just telling my family about you, the cats and the great day at the shelter. Good news is for sharing.
-
Ruthbru lovely new picture!
-
Three adopted from foster care on Sun. Not bad considering we were competing with the Seahawks game to see if they would get into the playoffs, and last minute Xmas shopping. The game covered almost all the hours the shelter was open.

Thanks feeling!
