Break from Tamoxifen

I decided to take a tamoxifen break after 4 years and 2 months (who's counting).

Has anyone else decided to do this ? I follow up with oncologist later this month and will switch to an AI for the remaining 6 years. I had an oophorectomy which put me in menopause. Just wondering if anyone else has done the switch and what their experience has been.

    I switched after an ooph this past April. I was set to do the rest of my time on Femara. The joint pain and claw hands were too much and I went back to tamoxifen. It is an easier drug for me.
