Dearest Ter,
Hear your computer is broken but just to say I have just sent you an e-mail that someone may be able to pass on to you.
I am praying for you and think about you all the time wondering how you are.
Praying for strength for you.
Bless you and loads of love to Frank and Blake too.

For those in touch with Ter, thanks for the updates. I was looking for her on the boards and glad to find these posts about her.
Please let her know I'm thinking of and praying for her too. I really hope they can get her pain under control.
Ter - I always liked the mischeivious grin in your photo ... and your wit and inspirational and creative posts.

Okay, now I'm about to cry since I haven't had the greatest of days myself but I called Ter tonight (her sister answered and she sounded just like Ter!) and she wasn't up for talking which is a first for us. She usually chats until I cannot chat anymore so I'm a little worried. Not to worry anyone else but more than ever I think Ter could use your healing and positive thoughts and prayers.

I know you said Ter's computer was down, but just days ago, late at night, an e-card I sent in July was just picked up. I was hoping I'd get a reply, but did not. I hope she knows I sent it. Janis, keep us updated if possible, maybe she'll be her chatty self soon.

Hey Ladies...
I also spoke to Ter. We are all concerned about her but I'm grateful that her sister is there for her right now. When I spoke to her (Sat)I sorta woke her up and she answered the phone. We only spoke for a few minutes which is also a first for us since, like Janis, we would chat for literally hours!
She is in a lot of pain AND her meds make her a bit foggy, as she will admit.
Ter has a new laptop that she is still trying to figure out, but I did get a message from her yesterday which I was thrilled about. Seems she keeps losing the wireless mouse so she said she needs to get one that's attached! She also said that her friends were going to bring her some movies cuz she has dvd on her new laptop.
She goes for bone scans soon..not sure when exactly...to see just where the cancer is going....
Christine..love your signature quote. I was so attached to Mattie Stepanek and I have one of his books that my mom brought to me since I couldn't get them here. He said many beautiful things about life. I try to remember that when I worry about Ter. Ter lives her life with a lot of love. She loves life, even in her pain, but wishes that nobody had to suffer so much...........
Be well ladies...Ter appreciates all of your prayers. -
I talked to Ter too. She sounds very tired. Her scan is this week, don't know when but I think she could use our prayers.
Margaret -
Got an email from Ter tonight. She is trying to use her new computer. Sounds like the pain is still terrible. She was typing her own email though, her pain is leg related.
-
Okay..heard from Ter via e-mail today and the bone scan won't happen but she is scheduled for MRI and x-ray in another week.
Lots of pain. Yes, most of her pain is hip and leg related but she has pains everywhere.
Her heart is still full of life though... -
TER- please know i am praying soooo much for you. i have been away for a while but, have NEVER stopped lifting you up to the Lord. i send this with my belief that jesus will,(((((((((((JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL)))))))))))love you sweetie, debbyfive

I spoke with Ter yesterday and she's doing much better now that she's off certain meds and on different ones. She really sounded good!
Janis L -
Thank you for telling us, Janis. I wonder about her--I miss her here on the boards.
-
Yes!!! Her e-mails are so much happier now. I'm so happy for her. She's eating better, too!
-
Thanks for the update on Ter. I'll be sending her another email. Thoughts are with her.
-
Please send Ter my good thoughts and warm hugs. I really haven't been able to roam around threads recently because of time constraints but always thought that TYer was and is the best. Glad to hear things are a bit better.
-
Please let Ter know that she is a true inspiration. I pray that she feels our love and our support. Thank you very much for the update.
-
Thank you all for your support and thoughts, I wrote a LONG note in reocurrance and mets, you might want to look there, as I hate to repeat myself..
You guys are the best here, please keep this board of PC/hospice going, its so important for actually everyone, even without cancer.
Im "hanging" in there, not going out unless to doctor, and I only see my mom once a week....she comes here on Sundays and we have a good visit...she is so still worried, but she is doing good, which makes me happy...and not sure if some of you know it, but if I could dance, Id be doing the happy dance as we (DH and I) are empty nesters...VERY quite here, and the messes are so much at a mininum....
Trying to keep up on those new meds dilliaudid, and they were having NO side effects YEA, but he wanted me (the pain specialist) at the cancer center to take them w/,my demeral...ahhhhhhh for weeeks I was a zombie, but I decided along w/my own internist to stop the demeral and some other stuff that was drugging me so bad I couldnt not keep my eyes or brain open for more than 5 min...Now Im tryhing to work with it and some decent ha ha nurishment as I lost over 20 pounds, as I became weak and dehydrated again...so I am here and as I did post in other thread I will not post very much...as Im trying to work on myhself a bit..and yes I am doing some scrapbooking again, and loving it, keeps me busy and I love it and not doing too bad at it!
Hugs to all
