Femara Question

I started Femara and so far so good. A strange side effect I noticed since starting though is it hurts some when I pee. Like an UTI is coming on. I haven't had a UTI in a very long time, 25 years or so, so I seriously doubt it is that.
Any ideas? Is this a side effect?

Just because it has been yrs since a UTI does not mean that it's not possible - easy to test for, so call your Dr for a test.

once your estrogen is blocked you are more susceptible to both irritation and UTIs........ I hope it eases
