Exemestane

I was on armidex and I started having shoulder pain. So now it was recommended to try this drug. Are there any women that have done well on this drug.

I am apprehensive starting another drug.

I've been on exemestane for three years now. All my SEs have settled down. They are typical of the near zero estrogen environment all AIs create. Mild arthritis, vaginal dryness, dry eye. The worst SE was trigger thumb, which was only resolved with surgery.

If I had to, I could stay on exemestane indefinitely. Rather not though.

You can join us on the aromasin thread, further down from this post. Exemestane is the generic for aromasin. Everything you ever wanted to hear about side effects from those of us on it will probably be found there.
