Seachain: so having my husband look for The ShoulderBlade Spot. (lost one nipple in a re-excision lumpectomy)

It is sooooooo cloudy & cloud.... yes, a blizzard is expected within the next hour. No worries..... I just got my new TEETH! I mean my lower partial! I am so happy.... They FEEL tight, but I'm kind of afraid of them... afraid I can't get them out.... He said I would probably bite my cheek, until I get used to them, because so many years have gone by without any lower teeth on the right side. But I'm supposed to call him Wednesday, to let him know how I'm doing.... in other words, if I can get my teeth out. I told him I clean my upper plate with clorox-clean-up.... And he said that's great! Just don't do that with the partial, because it would turn the metal dark....
I feel like a new man! I mean a new woman!
AND Theresa called me! She is back home to her apt in Assisted Living.... she just sounds tired.... And was going down for lunch, and then for dinner about 4.... I'll call her after 5... just to drive her crazy!
When she called, she said "lo?".... And I just laughed! We always answer the phone like that when we know the other one is calling!
Susan, are you having trouble posting pictures? I know I can't post them HERE, unless I open Google Chrome.... Then go to Google Images.... Then type in what ever subject you want to see... be careful now.... you could get yourself into trouble...... But then you will see zillions of pictures of which to choose from.... THEN click the one you like.... THEN Right click and it will say "copy image".... ... Click that one.... then go back to BC.ORG, where we are, find your favorite topic, like US.... Then Right click, and hit paste! OR....
When you see a picture you like , Right click, and hit "Save as"..... It will go into your picture folder..... Then when you want to post it here, look up above, and you will see the little "mountain" sign.... that means something.... Click on that.... then you see "choose file".... click that.... Then your saved pictures will come up.... Click on one... THEN, hopefully it will come out HERE! Hopefully.... ha!
I have Windows 10.... and my Browser is AOL.... but it will not let me simply post a random picture.... I have to go to "my Pictures" or open another browser like Chrome, or Firefox, then go to google images.... It should work.... Let us know.... okay?
And if all this don't work? Just give it up.... and go get a cup of coffee....

Too early?

My kind of house!!!!!

Not surprised Denver is getting hammered. It is really coming down here in New Mexico this afternoon. Began as rain yesterday, was sleeting this am, and now it's all about the fluffy white stuff!
-
You little smart a$$ Spookie! YES, it is snowing and cold.... Jazzy.... it just started here a couple hours ago.... Maybe won't go see Theresa tomorrow, but we'll see.... as long as I can talk to her, I'm happy.
My inside of my mouth hurts, where I bit my cheek.... so I took those pests out... I'll wait a little bit, and put them back in when my cheek feels better..... I think I just have to get used to them.... he SAID I would do that.... I remember doing that when I got my upper plate...
-
Chevy- the mountain here expected to get anywhere from 8 inches to several feet. The valley where I live maybe 2-4 inches. Our first snow storm of the season!
-
Kathy, just paying attention. You did make that one easy b/c you said how much you loved it. I had already planned to do something Japanese, and then you handed it to me
I read and article about the movie. Definitely one to tear at the heartstrings.
Mags, Oh that would have been so perfect when my Mother -in-law was alive. It would have driven her nuts. She wasn't a kind person, at least not to me.
Jazzy & Chevy do, you all lay in supplies for the winter like we do for the summer i.e storm stuff. I stock up for sure on toilet paper. I can go without food, but.................
Did someone say that Mommy was having a birthday?
Blondie YOOHOOOoooooooooYOOOHhhhooHOOOOOOO
Smarrty, loving your new thread .............lot's of fun

Me a, how is your eyesight in the one eye since surgery?
-
Meh I'll be an insomniac tonight by forces of nature. That is, we have severe weather coming. Crazy. The storms right now are in the TX and OK panhandles and already have sprouted numerous tornadoes, some quite big (preliminary estimate F4) but line of storms is supposed to hit OKC after midnight. Even crazier, the tornado threat will be slightly diminished but still there. Mid November. After midnight. WTF pardon my French is happening with the weather?
And I have to stay awake, because in case of anything, trust me, two dogs and two cats take a little while to gather and bring in the shelter area.
-
Sassy- no stocking up like when I lived in New England. I do try to make sure I always grocery shop before a storm. Always have TP stored in bulk from Sam's Club. You never want to run out of that.....
-
Just checking in...cold and rainy here. Still seeing good out of super eye and still have one old eye...be glad to have it done but it's not scheduled for weeks. DH is heading to China next week while I have a little lipo on the knees and the fat put in my face. Woohoo....I'm gonna hurt and be blind. Seachain - what part of OK? I graduated from TU in Tulsa and grandkids live in NE part. Don't miss it. I'm in DFW now...Hi Sass and all!!!!!
-
Happy Birthday, Kathindc! No matter what you got at Target, you could never top my sister's twist at Walmart - went in for bananas, came home with an armoire. We still laugh about that one.
Simplicity, I'm sorry you've had the loss of interest issue, too. It seems like that would be the time when a hobby would help take your mind off your recovery from treatment, so it's so unexpected.
Chevy, Clorox Cleanup? I have this vision of you cleaning the bathroom with the Clorox Cleanup, and then wiping down your dentures as the final step. At least it's not Comet! Great news about Theresa!
Mags, I LOL'd at the gingerbread house. That's about the extent of the baking I have planned for this holiday season.
Seachain, hope things stay safe down there. This has been a crazy summer and fall for weather, makes me actually look forward to winter.
-
Still up, it's after midnight and I'm not hearing any storms yet, seachain.
A couple of years ago my cousin sent DH and me to PetSmart for dog food and we came home with a cat and all the accoutrements. DH went to Walmart Saturday for something and came home with a carpet shampooer. I guess that means we're not getting wood floors after all.
New loveseat arrives tomorrow.

hello ladies. Checking in. I've not logged on in awhile since I've just been miserably sick. Starting to feel much better and wondering how all my buddies are doing. Seen where Chevy already has snow. Wth? Boo. Not even trying to catch up just jumping in .
Hootie hoo
-
wow. Thanks to smarty I went back and read all my bday wishes I missed. Brought tears to my eyes. Thank-you ladies so very much. Love all the Charlie Brown post. Gonna go watch the movie next week while the boys r out for Thanksgiving. Anyone else seen the movie yet?
-
Hi, Patty! I haven't seen the movie yet, but my niece says it is super cute and she liked it, so that is a big endorsement.
-
Chevy...realllllly, sooooo much clicking....just to post a picture...ha ha
Anyway....I don't have a computer only I pad. So I can hover over pics and save image. Or screen shot...but then I get more than just my picture. I get all those little pics from my images on bottom of my screen. Sometimes I can center it and it's better. Big learning curve for me......
Morning all....bigggggg hugs to start your day
-
Oh Susan! You have one of THOSE? Okay, so forget everything I just posted... I have a hard time with my one little Sprint cell-phone! I just use it for an occasional emergency.... stuff like that!
However you can figure out how to post pictures, is GREAT!
It is still dark and blizzarding out there! Actually just snowing, and dank and dark. Not a good day for a romp in the park.
-
Hmm the owl on the skateboard disappeared from the topic box. Just poof, gone?
Patty and Mema HotieHOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo works LOL
-
Mags--- HAHAHA Love the gingerbread house and shot my first turkey in the frozen foods! yucking it up thanks! Hi Patty glad to hear you're feeling better. Happy Birthdays to November folks!
-
Good Morning Rose & all,
Good News......Patty is feeling better !
-
Susan! I post mainly from the iPad! So I can tell you everything really easy! First, find your picture you want to post. Got it? Now, press and hold, you'll get a popup that says "save image". That will save it to your camera roll. Now, come to this thread (or any) and go to the box to post. At the top of the box, you'll see an icon that looks like mountains. This one:
Hit that, you'll get a box that says "choose image". Hit that, it will take you to your pictures. Hit camera roll and find your picture and touch it and it will post!
Here's another hint. In my Photos app I made a folder called "Cute" and I put all my fun stuff in there so it's easier to find. To do that, first open Photos, touch the + sign at the top! name your new folder, then go to your camera roll, at the top right it says "select" and you can touch each picture you want to move into your new folder. You can do a bunch at one time, not just one.
-
Okay! I wanted to get that posted so I wouldn't lose it. Good morning Owlettes and welcome back Patty!
I am waiting for the arrival of the new loveseat! Do you think I should go get dressed first? -
Mags, thanks for the tutorial for posting pictures from an iPad. I find I am doing more on mine but have to go to the computer when I want to post a picture. Watched DD type on her phone last night with both thumbs. I have to type on my phone and iPad using just my index finger. LOL
-
Kath I only use my iPhone to post, works the same as iPad. Easy least!!!!
-
Thanks Spookie.
-
Well, this should give you a good laugh. I forgot DBF's birthday. I'm in trouble. I remembered it everyday except today. OOPs
