I have the same ache, but I'm on exesmestane. I sit at a computer so have to make a conscious effort to move my arm & stretch it up over my head. When I do that it really doesn't bother me. I think mine must be from radiation since I didn't have any nodes removed.

My BS said that radiation damage to the chest muscles can cause pain at the site and in areas affected by the site for two years. Might be worth talking to a PT.

My arm and shoulder got very sore during radiation. I was told that Radiation can injure and tighten the muscles in the chest wall. Once I realized what was happening I started doing stretches and exercises to stretch and strengthen those muscles. Made a huge difference. I used the same exercises that I used when I had injured my rotator cuff several years back.

It's from radiation. My is still kind of sore/achy 8 years later. You do need to stretch and use it. Start slowly, work up. PT would not be a bad place to start.

Rads cause this, not meds. Yes to previous posts.

I am sore under my arm, I did have 4 nodes removed...but they were not affected. The soreness is not where the incision is, its lower.... I am still tan under the arm from the radiation. I see my Radiation Dr. next week and will ask him about the soreness. It has made it very hard to wear a bra.... I finally found one that I can wear longer than 3 hours. I never thought the soreness would be from radiation. I feel better knowing that... I was worried I was doing too much.
