Good morning ladies- got a busy week ahead but just wanted to wish everyone here a good week.
Chevy- I love the wild bus picture. Whenever I am in third world-ish countries and on their buses, I always expect this to happen.

haven't been around BCO much the past few weeks as I am trying to recover from my latest surgery and have been feeling very blah! Week four and I still have an open wound but nowhere near as bad as last time.
I just popped in tonight to see if you had clicked over to 1000 pages yet and I see it is a but a whisker away. Such an amazing thread.....full of humour, support, great advice and empathy. Congrats for when that 1000 clicks over. It is a testament to the power of everyone who contributed to those pages.....the power to make a difference in the lives of fellow humans. I have been a quiet observer mostly, but I thank you all for getting me through some tough days during the past six months
Hugs to you all.
Jac

Jacfin- good to hear from you and hoping you are feeling better as time goes on from your surgery. It takes me a long time to feel better from such invasive procedures.
We are almost to 1000, stay tuned!
-
Queenie, I'm late to the party as usual. So your cats were like this?
-
So Jac! Okay, how are you feeling? What did those No-goods do to you? Are things going okay? So how can we help you.... We can make it easier... Take good care!

Jacfin, Good to hear from you. Sorry the latest surgery is taking a long time to heal. You're more than welcome to lurk until you feel better. Hugs.

I'll try ONE more time, then I'm going out back and have a Bocce' Ball.... That's orange juice, vodka and amaretto! Cheers girls!

Hi everyone.
So far have had a really wonderful trip. Today was a long drive and I was feeling yuck because I heard Amy Jo had died. Some may remover her as Elisimo. It really hit hard.
Will try to post some pictures later.
-
ok, my turn. So I'm not done babysitting yet. My sister comes home tomorrow and dd comes home tonight. Have to pick up one Gkid today then tomorrow I'll have Grandniece, who's 4.
Hmmmm, iPad working a little different. Updated it this morning. Don't know if I like it.

Hi Alyson, typing at the same time. Sorry to hear about your friend. Where are you now, still in the states, right?
-
Lover: thank you for the flowers AND the cat hugs.
Rose: yes, I did get the towel! though she knew I was teasing. The cats alternated between snubbing me and clinging to me. i'll keep that in mind about yours coming over to investigate the treatment; one of mine would definitely do that!
-
Mags loved the cat aboutto sneeze and "smiling" great! Maybe I can ush the 1000... lets see.
-
Hi Alyson! Sorry about Elisimo...
Just want to say I'm trying something for the terrible Tinnitus I have.... along with my one Daughter..... It's worth a try.... I read, and listened to a whole story about it.... Maybe this will help...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHO_6nIDePU I tried it once this morning, with the little ear-plugs in my ears, and it seemed to be better.... supposed to do it twice a day....
-
Yesssss!!! I love this virtual place.. Hugs to all! It's a "lovely day in the neighborhood and lovely day in the neighborhood.." we need red cardigans.

this is what I'm working on. Finished the center last week, got the 8 corners done today. This was started in Detroit last month, most of it was cut and I just had to sew and remember what we did in class. I'll probably not get back to it until next week plus I have a baby quilt to make for Evie (new GGD). Shower is in November .
