Steph - just want to say I'm thinking of you. Sorry you have to go back into surgery.

Ankledolphin - I also have an almost hour drive to rads and then a long drive back to work. I'm on day 4 and it already sucks! Im just hoping the snow holds off until I'm done, here in Upstate NY.

Yep daily rads is tiring. Same for me too, 40min drive to rads and then back to work. Only 5 more to go, I believe. On top of the fatigue.

My mom used to sing "Anything you can do I can do better!"

My last chemo was 7/30. I'm finally feeling pretty decent, and now? My husband had a massive heart attack on Saturday morning while driving his tractor down the road. It gently came to a stop at an embankment where it caught fire. He was badly burned but was already gone so he never knew a thing.

    Yep! I'm living the nightmare!

Laura, my deepest sympathy for your shocking loss. My father died from a massive heart attack when he was 57 years old, and the grief was like having your heart ripped out of your body, so I totally understand what you must be going through. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts as you go through this trying time. May the love and support of your family and friends give you strength to get through this.

Oh Laura I am so very sorry. I can't even imagine what you're dealing with. I wish there was something I could do to help.

Steph - 7.2 is yucky, hope the transfusion goes well, that is so much to deal with, hope you get feeling better soon.

Oh Laura, I am so sorry for your loss. Words are not enough. You are a strong woman but this is such a blow. I wish you continued strength.

Good luck with your transfusion steph, and I know you will recover well from the surgery.

Alibeths, congrats on finishing rads! I had my final radiation treatment today! Yay! I can go home! Like some of you, my rads are an hour's drive from home it I chose not to commute...I am staying with my mom but DH and I will be leaving for home tomorrow!!! Yay! My mom still has her icky married boyfriend but luckily he hasn't been around much lately. He phones her about 10 times a day though. He is very needy.

Re hair - mine is coming back dark on the top, white on the sides...hmm. I have some very fine facial hair but unless you shove your face right up to mine you won't notice it.

I can't believe I am actually finished treatment. My skin has to heal, that's all that's on the agenda. Plus future MO and RO appointments. Thank you all for helping me go through this, your support and advice meant so much!

    Andrea
