for everyone who needs a good laugh - which is everyone.

Here is a pic of my lunch...ok...i went to one of the many local pizza places for a slice...

here is the funny part....one of the kids working had a pink t-shirt on that said... We hate Breast Cancer - more then we hate anchovies!

I thought it was awesome and had to share that!

Jen, thinking of you - due to time zone difference, I believe your appt. with BS is still 2-3 hours away. I totally get where you are coming from. I read the 98% certain, and I was like "Damn, why can't they say 100%? " It sucks that we can't be logical or rational anymore - because BC wasn't logical or rational. They try to make it sound like it is, but I'll never trust again.

    Melissa, thanks for the laugh!

    Melb how are you feeling?

Okay ladies I'm home. Surgery went so well that I didn't even need drains. Was out for about 2 hours. That's nothing compared to the 7 from the bikateral. I'm not eating toast anf having water. I feel nuttier than a fruit cake right now. Oh and PS told the hubby that my boobs look excellent. They better after all this crap.

    Still thinking of you Jen.

Glad you are doing well Addie!!

I agree they should look spectacular after everything you have gone through :)

I am doing pretty well. The worst part was the lidocaine started to wear off while they were stiching me up. I had to them I can feel that and it hurts. So they renumbed it. Now just tired. Hope the port coming out helps with the blood clots I have been having since they put it in.

yay Addie! You deserve perfect foobs! And no evil port!

My surgeon said he was 95% it wasn't a new cancwr, but if it was still there in a month he'd take it out. Not quite what I'd hoped for, but I can live with it. He said it's in the spot where he ties all his knots. So....trying to see this as good news. Thanks so much ladies, I would be insane without you!

Also, addie, did you do the gangNam style dance in your surgical gown??? Cause that would have been TOTALLY TITS! Hahahahahahahahaha are they beautiful? Do you love them?

Yeah Addie for a good surgery outcome; keep taking care of yourself.

Sending good karma to everyone going through surgery, rads, and chemo this week. Wait, is everyone done with chemo?

Littleblue - shout it out! 95% is a hell of a lot better than most of the stats that are thrown at us. And there is a 100% chance that I will come up with another sick joke while you are sitting in a waiting room. At least I can guarantee that. :) Bottoms up!!

Lynne - been thinking of you, sister! Hope the eastern part of the state is treating you like the princess that you are.

The experiences of the women in this April group that have faced cancer 2-3 times has been a major source of strength to me, reduces anxiety, makes me see the very best that life has to offer. Thank you!

actually Jenn I haven't been able to see the twins yet. They'd better be absolutely beautiful. They have me wrapped up like a mummy until Friday. But from I can see they look round and perky. And already feel a lot better than those damn expanders. Soft and squishy. Hooray for boobies. And no I didn't dance in hat gown. I would have but hubby is easily embarrassed lol . Your US today? Good luck

Yay melb on your deportation! And Addie! You going to post pics of your foods once the dressing comes off? Hehe...

Hang in there, littleblue! We are with you 110%!

It was my grandson's 3rd birthday today...awww! I won't see him till his party on Sunday though.

Tonight I went to the film competition where my movie was screened. Notice I said "my movie" even though I was an extra...but I'm so proud of us! Our film was the crowd favorite and was the runner-up in judging. So cool.

Only 6 more radiation sessions to go! My poor underarm is pretty sore. The things we have to put up with...I am getting so tired of all of this. Lately I have been getting daily headaches...not the awful cluster type I had before but they are stubborn and don't go away with the usual remedy of ibuprofen and coffee. I don't know if they're related to radiation...is anyone else headachy?

    Andrea

Andrea: congrats on the movie!!! That is so cool. Wish we could all see? Hooray almost done with rads. I know so tired of going every day too. No headaches but allergies right now. Fatigued for sure. Not sure if from work or rads.

Wish it was cooler here and I could hide under a sweater for work. I'm wearing a tank and feel so bare. My boob is turning all shades of pink. Just slight soreness.

Addie, so glad the foobs went well. Rest and get well. Jen,hope you feel more reassured and can rest well. I know I'm missing others, thinking of ALL!
