Good morning!
-
Debian, thanks for sharing. Very creative and seems fun.
Mommy, make sure you check his ears for this:
-
Maybe hubby is suffering from this?
-
too true Loverly.

Morning Owlettes, Wide awake at 4:30 am now fading. Went to Carrabbas's last evening for dinner. Food was spectacular. Went full boat appetizer, salad, entrée, desert and Godiva cappuchino. Martini-Razzmitini best yet.
Had a fall yesterday b/c of a comedy of errors. Stepped on pricker on the carpet. The dogs bring them in on their fur. Grabbed a chair to steady me standing on one foot. Couldn't reach the bottom of foot. DBF came to help. He pulled the bent knee to the left. Which unbalanced me and I went down. The pricker was knocked off during the falling. Couldn't find it. Went to sit on the couch. It had attached to my nightgown. I then proceed to sit on it. Ouch. The whole few minutes were pretty comical. I've had enough falls to know I should wait a day to see what hurts. Blithely, I swam and pushed the number of laps and did a new variation on the breast stroke and added more stair stepping. Well at 4:30 am Schatzi wakes me up to go out. Ah, my total body let me know in no uncertain terms that I was stupid. Thank goodness for tramadol.
Loverly, and EEyore could you cut & paste to W& F's
your travelogue's
Rosie, Blondie and Patty thinking of you. Hugs all around.
Marley and Frenchfrye ready to come up for air.
Loverly what did I miss on the hip?
Debiann, loved the idea of an interactive shower. I can't abide the showers that have games. I behave, but always itching to have them over. Where did you have it? When is the wedding? Please, keep the pics coming. We love vicarious living
Tresjoli, You get to enjoy the sparklies. How long do your's last? Any associated s/s's. Mine's a flat 20 minutes. Maybe a tinge of a headache for a few seconds and a sinking nausea that last for a few seconds ---tres lucky for sure. What I have found interesting is that the general population ratio is 1:200 that experience Optic Migraines which by definition is the flashing lights and visual disturbance in the right or left visual field. Here on BCO many have the experience.
KJones did I answer your question okay? Also, weaning off was okay for me. Not sure how that compares in the general population. It was a godsend at the time. Sleep deprivation is at the root of all evil. May sound like a strange question are you married?
Mema There is a thread started by Jelson on 2D6. Page one on Feb 23rd, 2014
https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/73/topic/798301?page=1
There was initial discussion which was very informative, but with my post of Feb 23 and for the next 7 /8 pages ibecame a soapbox item. I received notice that my 3's--3A4&3A5 were abnormal. It completely validated what I new life long, I was abnormal. Erhh rephrase, that the way I responded to drugs was abnormal. From that point on, I was on a mission to encourage like people to work towards testing. I tried to make cytochrome pathways more understandable. Some posts were better than others in trying to explain it. Give it a read and see if the info helps you understand. Let me know
Susan, I will get to Zometa. I know when I do something like this it's minimum 8-16 hours. Sometimes more. I have to have certain mindset for that level of intensity. Are you on a timetable for needing the info? Plus, PM me your questions and objective(s) That helps the focus in looking at studies. Loverly, PM that link you wanted sent, but I haven't looked at it yet.
-
Happy Monday Ladies. Taking things easy and hoping this weeks goes by fast. I have labs on Friday and Hopefully a MRI to check progress Next week. Still tired and not kicking back this last round like i want to. but hey it is the last one (taxotere) so all is good.
I hope this post finds you all well.
-
Oh Frey, good to hear from you. Your body has been through a lot. Give it a chance to recover. Hugs
A sunflower I send to you in hope that it will brighten your day a bit.
-
Thank you! Hugs!
-
BBL to answer your question Ms Sas. Working girl today
-
Sas, maybe the wrong link? This one is the one on bacteria, etc, three pages in length. I'll search for the other as well....I remember it just not for sure if I saved it
-
-
Frea- good to hear from you and glad you are recovering from the last of the chemo. Seems the cummulative effects make things harder those last two rounds. Wishing you good news on the MRI results. We will be in your pocket.
Loveroflife- that photo is beautiful, I would like to be in that fresh mountain air in that high meadow!
-
Same here Jazzy. I love the smell of mountain air. I got to witness similar beauty in Alaska and Nepal. Didn't get a chance to go near Mt. Everest, but could see it from a distance the last time we were in Nepal.
Ms.Sas, hip pain started last week. Can't tell if it's joints or the hip bone. It's an annoying dull ache. Not muscle this time. I was thinking maybe weather or food related, but it came back again this morning, though not as bad as last week. No changes in barometric pressure. It is possible it's a combo of new pair of sandals and badminton. If this continues, I need to go in for X-ray. Not excited about getting exposed to radiation
-
Sassy, I would like to know how to cut and paste in another thread. It took me almost half an hour to try to post, repost, edit and reedit, finally those pics somehow showed up in several posts, not in the sequence I wanted, and got two pics stuck side by side. May have to take a lesson from Spookie to post from phone. My iPhone only allows me to select one pic at a time. Another question, is there a short cut to jump to p. 508 of W & F from current page?
-
Eeyore, I think she is probably in dreamland now.
Ok, to cut and paste on your iPhone:
- Place your finger on part of what you would like to copy and hold for a few second. Lift your finger and you will see a blue highlighted rectangle with two diagonal dots.
- Let's say you would like to copy the first three lines of the above paragraph, you need to drag the lower blue dot so that all three lines will be highlighted.
- Let go of the finger and hit copy.
- To paste, you need to place your finger and hold until this message comes up
•Select paste
It can get tricky when you need to copy a long post. I had to try a few times.
-
Ms. Sas, you fell again? Ay yay yay...did you mix the martini with the benzo? Sorry, I kind of giggle reading your post about the pricker. You ought to be careful!! Actually, DBF should have caught you
-
Online class started yesterday. Have a 500 word essay due by Sunday on Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" and its connection to dreams. What a great way to start off the semester, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't really like reading his works, I tend to get nightmares from it!
-
WTH are you guys talking about? I don't know nothin' about doing ANYthing with a phone......... Just a computer.... But I know with SOME providers, you can't do it, without taking am Information Technology class from the nearest university, and then graduating with a sigma-cum-lauda degree...something like that.
AOL will only let me R.click a picture, hit copy, and then to to "write email" and then R. click and hit paste.
If I want to post a picture on HERE, I have to open my Chrome browser, go to Google Images, then type in some picture or something.... then I have a million choices, and I Right click copy image, and come back here, and R. click paste.
BUT if I want to paste it on FB, I have to R.click, then click "copy image url" then take it to FB and R click to paste and it goes there... most of the time. You have to be a technological genius to figure these things out... with a little more training and patience, we all will raging maniacs.
-
Mommy- good luck with your assignment. I love to write and the essay sounds fun to me!
-
Loverly, I do know the basic cut & paste function, even on phone. My pics here are separated by several postings. What I couldn't do is cut these separate pic postings from IP then paste to W & F as Sas requested. I am an illiterate on picture editing.
-
Well I read the story at least 3 times so far and started the essay. Out of 500 words, I have 124 done. I probably will read it at least two more times before I write the rest of the essay and send it in. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hi ladies and our 2 guys (if they're reading). I looked and I have not been here since MAY. Holy crap! I see you/we are coming up on 1,000 pages. WTG Sassafras and thanks for making the thread.
Sorry, I don't have anything funny to say. Plus, I'm just socially awkward that way. It's a lifelong gift!
Things are going well here. I've only been picked up by the police twice since June and neither time resulted in an arrest. Hahahaha! I just made that up....mostly, really. I hope everyone is having a good morning. I should be out on the porch drinking my coffee. Think how many kids I've missed shouting at this morning by being inside. Someone might send paramedics to see if I'm still alive.
Phyllis

Holy chit is right! Big Bertha must be missing you! You don't have to be funny, just stop in more frequently!! Good to see you.
-
Eeyore - this applies to a PC. Know nothing about other devices. To jump page to page on a thread go up to the URL. Right now this is on page 959. Just erase that page#, substitute the page you want to be on and hit enter. Erase just the number, nothing else.
I have trouble getting pics in too. Some go just fine, some preview with "picture of a cow" and no picture. The pics of Breton did pretty well except I put the map in 1st and of course in the scheme of things it came up last, so had to delete/redo.
Cut/paste to another thread I would probably sidetrack thru Word. Though I have bad luck with pictures doing that.
Mommy - prof. may be using this 1st assignment as a "weeding out" kinda thing. Stick with it. Bad thing to have due over a holiday weekend. More proof that he's doing it for the stick-to-it-tiveness value.
DH back on Augmentin for bad tooth. Was supposed to get perm. crown on Thursday but going back to endodontist instead. I'm not seeing good things from this. I was surprised when he put him back on Amox. for a 2nd time the last time (know that Aug. is suped up Amoxicillin).
Hey Phyllo. Good morning to Nebraska. Coffee sounds good but thanks I'll stay in the AC. Yup agree with Spookie. Stay a while.
-
Ahh...ok, got it Eeyore. You have four posts of pictures and you want to combine it to one post right?? Just cut and paste four times.Hit submit button after first "cut and paste", then go back and hit edit button and cut and paste second post. Hope I am not confusing you. I sometimes confuse myself too! Will try it now.
-
It's the Philomiester! The wayward prison camper-outer! The long-lost paint-ball blaster of all the neighborhood kids! With BIG ALICE!
So what's NEW cow-girl? You feelin' better? Cammi posts on the drinking thread but I think she is doing good.... I see her on FB posting porn pictures, etc. She's funny that way!
You better not wait so long to post.... I don't have that many folks to make fun of.... they don't pay any attention to me anymore! So what's going on with your hair? Purple still? And your toe-nails?
I'm going to lunch with DD pretty soon, then coming back to watch a Shirley Temple movie with her....
So Phyllopian, come back soon..... stop walking those streets at night 1/2 naked like you used to do..... Those cops should be just USED to you by now.... after all, most of them are usually at your house at night anyway.
-
Well I keep going back to my essay and changing things. I am now up to about 250 words, but before its all done and sent in, I'll probably do a least another revision. At the college I am going to online, the professors usually set Sundays as the due dates for work so we can begin on new work at the beginning of the week.
-
Good for you Mommy for taking an English class. I always envy people whose writings comenaturally to them. I hated and still don't like writing. I am so random and always have difficulty organizing my thoughts. The different tenses and verb agreement always get me because there are no such things in Vietnamese.
Phyllis, please visit often. Ms. CHEVY is not herself lately because she has not been teasing anybody. I kind of worry about her
-
🎼🎶 On the good ship, lollipops everywheeeeere🎶
Can't get the tunes offmy mind. Love Shirley Temple.
-
Loverly, I saw you re-posted the pics for me in W & F. Thank you!! From your expression "Ay yay yay" i figured you are an Asian.
