hello! I'm not sure if you are getting this but did you ever figure out what was wrong with your vision?? Did it ever get better?? I'm going through something similar!
Please email me

Hey ladies, I got an email and really appreciate " the kick in the hiney" reminder to get back here
Life has been a rollercoaster here..
I did 5 days in the hospital, hooked up to all this fancy equipment, and came out nervous, and NO answers.. well, for sure, I don't have epilepsy, that's good.. but, they don't know what I have!!
Anyway, good news.. things that haven't been working since chemo have been coming back "on line" 5 years later.. I have saliva again(but still no more hair) it seems my pancreas has started to work correctly.. I now am having LOW blood sugar, so my insulin got adjusted. I feel better, but have to be careful with hypoglycemia.
they were keeping me on a dibetes diet, and I crashed a few times.
Thats the news here, more or less.
I'm not looking forward to the holidays, I always have a hard time now..
But, I'm wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving, In case I don't get back here for awhile...
-
Hi 3jays, it's always good to have you anywhere you appear on these threads!! I wish you'd had better news about what was found in the hospital---after 5 days there, especially. But glad you're home anyhow.
Hope Murray and the 3 jays and grandchildren are doing well.
Prayers and hugs,
Kathy

Hi Kathy, et al..
Mur and the grands are doing fine..
Someone here, at BCO dxed me, and she was right!!!
It's a long, word.. but the heart was quite damaged from chemo, suffered a massive coronary, if you remember.. Now, the heart isn't pumping the blood to the brain enough, and causing the "pass outs"
Nothing to do but be careful, and carry on..
You guys always seem to know more than the drs!
Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and /or channucha..
We're busy with the grands, my son has allowed much more access to them. I'll post the pic with santa later..

3jays, you certainly have been through the wringer and I admire you so much for your spirit! You're our Energizer bunny. So glad you're enjoying more access to the grandkids and I'm looking forward to the Santa picture!
We have 3 going on 4 (in April) grandchildren now, 2 boys and 1 girl, and the one coming is another boy. I wanted to be called something trendy and modern but the oldest decided that I was MeMa so that I remain. Anna, who's 16 months, now calls everyone baby, doggie, or MeMa. Oh well.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah to you and everyone else who visits this thread! May it be a blessed one for all of you.

I appreciate your prayers. I had a port put in early December. The 18th of December emergency surgery to removed the port due to massive blood clot in the juggler vein DVT. My neck was swollen to the point it looked like I had the mumps. I couldn't turn my neck or lift my right arm. My right arm was red. I also ran a fever. They removed the port, and I was in the hospital for 3 days. I have been on blood thinning drugs. My clot (ultra sound) is still the same size. It hurts. The blood thinning meds are making me sick so I got off them and going natural. I need prayer. I'm not sure what to do. Thanks.Miss you all!
-
Himdsfeet you are in my prayers. I pray that through Gods divine intervention he dissolves the blood clot. I pray He gives you the peace that passes all understanding. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
-
Thanks...pray the natural blood thinners work. I will have a MRI soon to see if the pain I had on top of my head is another brain tumor. Although, it has been tough lately, God is still God, and in control. I am standing strong because He is my rock!
-
I will.... Amen!
-
Almost a month and no one's posted here. I still pray for us all, and hope all are okay.

I need prayers for strength and courage. Nothing going right. Wilsie

I will be praying for you, Wilsie. May our Father God hug you in His Arms and give you the comfort that only He can give His child.

My DD left the 24th for South America. She is going to backpack in Patagonia starting this coming Wednesday, the 4th. I would love prayers for her travels; that she is safe, makes good decisions, and has a blast. She was raised knowing Jesus, but as young adults are sometimes prone to do, she has decided that "religion" is not for her. It's not for me either, I've told her, I am living for God/Jesus. Interesting at church this last Sunday, our pastor spoke about the fact that Jesus didn't come to bring a new religion, he came to restore our divine relationship with our Heavenly Father. Loved that! Anyway, the kiddo is going to be in South America until April 7, then she heads to South Africa until December, so whenever you think about it, please pray for her. Her name is Rachel. Thanks so much.
-
Amen.
My faith has been shaken the past six months and DH and I are struggling with our families. Please pray for all of us. I feel so low, even though I know God is here for us, we feel very lonely.
-
Meece..Sorry you are having a hard time at the moment Sending turbo prayers for you and you Hubby. God is good . Hold on to His hand , and don't let go.. (Hugs)
-

How is everyone doing

I am selling my home of almost 19 years. Close on the 20th and have until the 23rd to be out. Starting to stress. Prayers welcomed! Otherwise doing OK. Daughter is in South Africa having a blast!

Greetings from Jerusalem! I'm here with my daughter on our dream vacation. I've been to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was pressed beyond measure. I learned that when you pressed olives, you begin with a small stone, and work up to larger stones. One of the larger stones brings about oil used for lighting lamps. The last stone is very large crushing stone named gethsemane. Jesus was pressed beyond measure for us to the point he sweat drops of blood. He surrendered, not my will but Thy Will O Lord. Such as we too are called to do especially when pressed, and stressed. It is the beauty of surrendering that brings precious oil, and life.
I hope you all are well.
Life is full of challenges, and I'm grateful that in the Garden, we can hear that still small voice that tells us everything is going to be okay. Families, money and health bring on stress. I'm so glad we have Jesus to carry them for us. After my quiet with the Lord, my heart too is quiet from the raging storms pressing on me. What a gift it is to here in Israel, and to meditate on the wonders of Yeshua or Jesus.
Cast your burdens on Him for He cares for you!
-
Thank you Hindsfeet. Good lesson and reminders.
-
Wow, hindsfeet a dream vacation for sure and such a great message!
I know I, when being pressed, call out and feel like God has abandoned me, when that is not the case at all. Right now I am trying to rejoice in every thing.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. James 1:2-3

Just found your thread----love the few posts I've read. Hindsfeet, that was surely what I needed to hear today. And I love you are in Jerusalem. My favorite priest was n the Holy Lands when I had my lumpy a year ago in Feb. He said a mass for me there, knowling only that I was having surgery. I still couldn't say CANCER. I clung to that vision of the holy lands and him there doing that every day during my Rads....
-
Hindsfeet...I saw your post & realized I'd missed seeing/hearing from you. What a beautiful discovery...filled with visions of the Holy Land where our Saviour walked & prayed & spilled His blood for us. May we continue to walk with Him & our prayers lift us up...as you are lifted being on this marvelous trip of a lifetime! I'm so happy for you and your dear daughter.
Redheaded1...my beloved priest continually tells me he's praying for me...and calls me by name when offering communion at each mass...I know his prayers are so special....such a blessing. God bless all my sisters.

My new job is dispatching for state police. I was on duty today when the shooting at Umpqua community College occured. Although I was not the dispatcher involved, our center (7 of us were working) were still required to answer calls, dispatch troopers in other parts of the state, etc. My partner who was directly involved was awesome. I'd ask for prayer for peace of mind, calmness and clarity for everyone involved on the law enforcement/medical side and prayers for peace for those who are survivors as well as the families of those slain. If they have chosen the narrow road, may our Lord, Jesus Christ, welcome them with loving arms.
