Spookie, I quit smoking 25 years ago, never had any problems before chemo.
We're supposed to have highs of 70's and 80's this week. Ahhhhhh. -
Chevy- great pic of you too. Yes, I knew about rabbits as we raised them. Their equivalent of men falling asleep after. LOL!
-
Smarrty, great pic of you and FF. The meetings are always so much fun
Smarrty I'll cut and paste to W&F's Spookie and LMG, Aldi's is CHEAP. Upscale Save-a-Lot. I did take bags, but they had carts for a quarter. Quarter is returned when cart is put back in the cart section. Odd ball stuff for sure. 77$. Half (maybe) of what I would have spent at Publix's. I did get everything I need though. I'll keep going for awhile. Prices were surprising. I could probably make it work by planning specific meals. I'm into crock potting. Meals last for usually 3 days or generally 6-8 servings. DBF eats allot. Saves allot of work and he loves the stuff.
Frenchfrye. Two week plan-got it. You are doing soooowell since that first night we talked YAY
Mags, just like I said mantra 1.
Kathy, so dislike it when medical/nursing folks discount what a patient says. Bad practice and can be dangerous.

mags, I had a lot of trouble with lungs from last chemo. Ended last chemo, taxoyuck, last January. When I had a ct scan, it showed that my left lung wasn't inflating well. No other test showed anything and doc couldn't hear anything. Fast forward to today, I finally felt like it was working better a couple weeks ago. I was struggling big time when walking, biking, or anything. Mostly gasping for more oxygen. But now it's ok. Hope you get better too. Took 5/6 months for me
-
mags, I also started with sustained ultra for the eyes, liquid fir the days, the heavy gel for nights. It's a bit better. The pharmacist told me it's the best over the counter you can get. Individual vials, so there are no preservatives in them. My eyes still go between tearing and lids sticking to eyeballs. But it s a bit better.
Good luck

Oh chit. NWS is saying 80% chance to develop into a depression in the next 5 days. Moving WNW.
-
Sorry, I could not take it back to California with me, You must be hurting or are you passed the point
-
Tropical depression? Do we have hurricane forming?
-
Ah the Watch begins............................................
-
Like we're watching the fires here. I remember it well from living in Houston. We were there during Carla.
-
Yes P L E A S E send all rain WEST!!! We are so desperately dry it is scary. It will be 95 tomorrow and 100 on Wednesday just awful. Fires are burning every where on the West... everyone do a rain dance. We will probably get slammed with rain come October. Poor trees and meadows haven't had a sip of water since the beginning of June.
Beachbaby 65- Isn't Neskowin a beautiful gem? It's so lovely unspoiled and quiet... wind blown pine trees and all the craqqy hill sides and rocks sloping to the white sandy beach... just gorgeous. Of course the water is freeezing cold.. nothing like Florida. It takes us an hour to get there... perfect beach. The cafe there has the best brick oven pizza... pricey but crazy good!

-
Okay, I did a rain dance with a tin(aluminum)hat, with my Cherokee rain stick. and prayed, Oh god. Hope it doesn't back fire

Hey everyone! Got my results on the mass today. It is a fibroidadenoma ! They are sending me on to the surgeon to remove the microcalcifications and the mass hopefully. So will have to wait and see what the microcalcifications come back as. They did say that the fibroidadenoma puts me at a 1.5 to 2 times greater risk of developing breast cancer, but that doesn't mean I will for sure. Thanks everyone for your support, I will check back in after surgery and let you know what's going on.
-
Boyd- I had one of those discovered too (at the same time as the bc) but was told they were just benign growths, never heard there was any linkage to possible future bc. Anyways, that is good news and hoping the calcifications are nothing either.
Things are moving in the right direction for you. Keep us posted!
