Hi Kathy & Tammy, I stayed the same.....but I have been walking every day & yesterday we took 2 1+mile walks with the dog. The heat wave broke so it is much more comfortable to be outside. Hang in there we can do this!!!
-
yikes, I gained 2 lbs!!!
-
I feel terrible and I'm too scared to get on the scales......but I think I may be turning a corner......roll on next week and to another Friday weigh in
-
Kathy, 2lbs can be gained and lost in no time at all....as Janet says just hang in there! I'm feeling more positive already 😉
Take care lovely ladies
-
Good Morning dear ladies! Hang in there...we need to focus on the positive things like being around to take care of ourselves, This is something I have always struggled in my life to stay in shape & loose!! Now when I look back when I thought I had to loose weight that was 40lbs ago!! If I only knew then what I know now!! I am not giving up!! I need to focus on weekly progress and not the enormous amount of weight I would like to loose. Keep positive, drink lots of water & green tea!! Have a great week!!
((hugs)) Janet
-
thank you, Janet!! You have inspired me again!!!
-
Janet, I need help! I've gained ....and gained...and gained! I'm nervous about everything. I'm due to have a blood test but I keep putting it off.....
I'm off to Japan soon for a holiday and I think that is the start of something new!
Kathy, let's make a pact to join Janet in positive thinking....the rest of lives starts today......
-
Tammy, sorry to hear that you are feeling nervous... Stress is a very unhealthy thing for our bodies. (Believe me I l know!!) Positive thinking is the one of the best medicines out there!! Sounds like you need a holiday to relax, enjoy, spoil yourself and indulge a bit.....When you return you can resume a plan of healthy eating, walking and perhaps some yoga or meditation, As far as getting your blood work done, I know what you mean about dreading it. ( It freaks me out a bit, but always feel glad it was done) We are here for each other...sending positive thoughts your way!! ((hugs)) Janet
-
Hi, Tammy!! Yes, indeed, every day is brand new!! Have fun on your trip to Japan!!! Enjoy and let everything else go!!!
Hi, Janet!! Thank you for the inspiration again!!!

-

I'm off to Japan next Friday.....can't wait
-
hi, Tammy and Janet!! We are not near the fires, thank you so much for asking!! We live in the South Bay!! The fires are up north! Prayers for all those affected!!
Lost a pound!!
-
Dear Tammy, enjoy your trip !! How long will you be there!! Can not wait to hear all about it!!!
-
Great job Kathy on the loss & I am glad you are safe!
Tammy, have a fun & safe trip. Look forward to hearing about it!
-
Yikes, gained two pounds!! Forgot to weigh this morning, just got off the scale!! Went for an hour hike this morning!!! I may try to weigh in tomorrow again😄 how are you ladies doing?? Have a wonderful weekend!!
-
Kathy, hopefully just a fluid change.....the hiking should definitely help!
We're in Tokyo at the moment and have done lots and lots of walking! I'm hoping that after two weeks of walking and eating lots of fish I'll be back on track with my eating. I was completely out of control before we left due to working long hours and eating poorly.
We went to the tuna action at the fish markets and that was an amazing experience....here they are checking the fish before bidding

-
Tammy, thank you for your encouragement!! Wow, what an awesome picture! You are having a great adventure!!! 😃😃
-
I haven't been able to weigh in as I'm away but I think I've lost....I certainly feel better!
Lots of walking us really working for me. I have a Fitbit to measure my steps and I doing 2 to 3 times more walking than when I'm at home!
I hope everything is going well for you
-
Tammy, you are doing great!! I stayed the same this week!!
-
Kathy, better than a gain
-
Thanks, Tammy!!! I am going to make this a better week!!!👍
-
Hi Ladies, Tammy sounds like you are doing better. Hope you are enjoying yourself. Kathy, good job on the no gain!! Sorry I have been MIA....I've been dealing with more health issues again. It seems my menstrual cycle returned and that has set off a range of tests and appointments. The good news is I found out yesterday that the endometrial biopsy was negative. Talk about adding stress to my life! But I am doing better with hearing that. Today I have a rheumatologist appointment & a follow up ENT appointment. It is hard to believe I have so many doctors that I see now. Before the BC I never went to the MD except for my scheduled gyn & mamo appointments. I am doing what I have to do to be at my healthiest! But enough of these appointments!! I have been walking and mostly eating well...the weight just doesn't want to come off. It looks like not much will change until I can get off the prednisone...lets see what I hear today.
Keep up the good work! and remember to unjoy every day!!
-
Janet, good luck with the appointments.....I hear you on the doctor visits...I can't believe how many tablets I take now!
-
Hi, Janet!! Aww, I know the health issues can continue after Breast Cancer! Thank the Lord that your biopsy came out negative! I will be thinking of you as you go to your appointments!!
Hi, Tammy!! I know, I have a pillbox now
-
I weighed this morning, and I lost 3 pounds!!
-
Yipee Kathy! Well done!
I'm home tomorrow and will weigh in then......fingers and toes are crossed for a loss
-
hi, Tammy!! Thank You!! Welcome Home!! Tell us about your adventure in Japan!!
-
Congratulations Kathy!! Great news!! Keep up the good work!
-
Glad that you are home safely from your trip Tammy, good luck on your weigh in...
