Wednesday Weigh In

Thanks Heidi! Onward we go. Congratulations to you too!
-
Up one to 134.5.
-
Well I'm up 1 pound this week. Guess I need to tighten things up here as I have birthday and vacation coming up!
-
Reader, that's my strategy, too. I have to lose now before Christmas is here. LOL.
Maintaining.
-
Heidi, the positive is I saw my oncologist for my post-mammogram check up and she said I looked "fabulous." I'll take it! As long as we're generally moving in the right direction
-
After having lost 7.5 lbs I gained back FOUR on vacation at the end of August. Have now lost 2.5 so I'm back somewhat on track. This board has been quiet. How is everyone doing?
-
I just got back from Boston where we walked 100,000 steps in 7 days....and I GAINED 3 pounds!! Yikes! I have been logging into loseit.com faithfully since we got home & have lost those 3 and am now back trying to get rid of 5 more (which I had previously lost before all the summer fun).
-
I'm also trying to get back on track so perhaps we can resurrect this thread to be accountable.
-
that sounds good to me!
-
I should add the cancer nutritionist I've seen said losing what is now 12 more pounds takes me to a weight that is "statistically significant " in terms of reducing disease. (I think general stuff not necessarily cancer reoccurring) . But still a good goal.
-
Okay, so down 2 lbs from where I was last week. Now at 168.6. I know we don't have to put weight but for me it might help keep me 'honest'!
-
I promise to report in faithfully.....stay tuned for tomorrow's report!
-
Oops! Thought today was Wednesday. Need to check my phone more often since that's the only way I know what day it is. But glad today is only Tuesday since if it was Wednesday I would be missing an appointment tomorrow evening.
Love being retired but need to find a method to know the day. It's gonna embarrass me when I show up on the wrong day. Just hope it's not to something where people are depending on me. On the Royal Caribbean cruise I did in 2014 they had the day posted in strategic places on the ship.
-
Ladies, I will also faithfully check in!
Patoo, I retired in May and also have moments of day/date mental delay due to having no "driver" fo keep me on top of it. I've been noting my exercise in my daytimer to help. ( I give myself a ladybug sticker). Once a teacher always a teacher
-
All I've been able to accomplish with weight this summer is keeping the gain down to a couple of lbs. On Sunday we'll be heading home to Louisiana after 3 months in north MN. I'll back to weighing every day.
-
See, almost missed it. Down to 168.4 today.
-
Down .8 (almost 1) Turtle slow....
-
Today was 132.5. Just starting from there since I can't remember what it was before.
-
Down .2 from last week.
-
I am up circa 1 kilo as I've been eating cake everyday. This morning I finished it all so I can start losing again.
-
Yay to losers, no matter how small the loss!!!!
-
I'm willing to give this a try - I just finished all my treatments 9/24 and will circle back to my MO Thursday (will be starting tamoxifen). I have weight to lose and I'm going to start here as my motivator!! I will mark the calendar for the Wednesday weigh in.
-
Welcome aboard! It's nice having other people doing the same thing.
-
For the last few weeks I've been down a pound a week. Slow and steady wins the race, right?! That means I should be able to lose another 12-13 pounds by the end of the year. I will check in here on Wednesdays to report how I'm doing.
-
Welcome Janette, yes slow and steady is the way to go!
-
Reader425, I saw in an earlier post that you retired from teaching in May, right? Me too! There are a few things I miss about teaching, but I love retirement...
-
Hi Janett, I taught for 5 years then did training and other work for 29 years with a technology company. I say I spent those years teaching "big kids!" I also miss work some but really love retirement.
-
Janet, I would love to lose 1 lb. a week. Keep up the good work.
-
Thanks Carole.
Down one pound today (from last Wednesday). Yay
-
I was up a pound (we are doing a yard project; yesterday worked until late, and then went out for pizza....so maybe I will be back down tomorrow).
