INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

Okay, I have no idea what just transpired. But I love the language you are talking in. Another language is important. It will draw anyone that speaks this other language to here b/c you two are here.
-
You gals What up? Define please.
-
Si la situation ne s'ameliore pas dans les jours a venir...ok I am stuck
-
Okay Chevy is Mom, but I am the playground monitor. What's up?
-
Is the playground full of happy folks?
-
Je be suis pas folle
-
I quite agree with you. And the moral of that is;Be what you seem to be, or if you'd like it put more simply: Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.
-
Loverly, explain please what happened, or PM me
-
Loverly is just welcoming TresJolie in French. I can almost follow along.
-
Ms. Sas, it's French. Tresjolie, we are in trouble
-
Wonderful Beaches-----------oH aNoTher Very gOod THoUGht
-
Hremphmph, I could hear the French, but I couldn't understand the tone. They were speaking to fast.
-
SAS, di you see I took your cat? Go back a page and see
-
Time for me to try to sleep! Good night ladies hopefully I will follow Alice down the rabbit hole. By the way it's a blue moon tonite!
-
Okay all is good, and Trej and Loverly have found each other. This is good
-
Beachbaby figured it out.

-
sas all I said was I was afraid today and didn't have a good day. Sounds better in frenc
-
Oh good. You are still here. I thought I scared you away.
-
nope loveroflife we are good! My phone died and I had to trade to the car for my laptop. I'd better try to sleep soon. My 3yo will be jumping on me at 5am...sigh. Steroids suck I never have trouble sleeping
-
Je suis heureux que je me suis pas le seul idiot qui a étudié le Français à l'école, surtout quand je vis en Californie du Sud, où tout le monde parle espagnol.
Tresjoli--I'm hopped up on steroids, too. I keep trying to nap but the 'roids have exacerbated the hot flashes...ugh.
Sas--you're more like the ringleader at the circus.
-
Aww.... 3 yr old??? Bon nuit de sommeil
-
-
Hey Owlettes! Welcome tresjolie and whoever I missed! Bienvenue! (Sassy, that's French for "welcome".)
Sassy, belated happy birthday, and Chevy, happy birthday that is only late because I had to catch up.
For some reason I slept for two days this week. But today was our 28th wedding anniversary, and we went and bought DH a car so I can have my car back so I don't have to rely on my cousin for a ride. (By the way, sassy, my doc rescheduled my appointment after you had me call, I'll go Wednesday instead of September)
We went out to eat at a new Mexican restaurant nearby, the owner stopped and chatted and she ended up bringing us her homemade flan for dessert, with a candle and all, when she heard it was our anniversary. Best flan ever!

-
Oh, hi Marlana. You are not working today are you? Not everybody speaks Spanish in California. Where did you learn French ??
-
Mag, what a sweet owner

-
BTW, Uncle Fester, who are you calling an idiot? I guess you are right. I should have taken Spanish instead of French or Mandarin. No one to practice with..
Sorry, I don't know how I missed the part where you mentioned how bad the ingrown hairs were/are until your recent post. Mine are on my legs (from shaving). They are usually tiny pimples where I can see the hair underneath. I am glad your mom knew what to do
-
I'm off this week for my last chemo round. I took a year of French in Jr. High and 4 years in HS. When I was planning my trip to France in 2011, I bought the Rosetta Stone program as a refresher. And it's not a complete waste--it's made it easier to understand Spanish and to learn some Italian. I now speak a language I like to call Franglispanitgerm which is where the bits and pieces of the 5 languages that I speak get jumbled up in my mouth and come out as onemashed up language. I'm much better at listening and writing each language. Mostly because of lack of practice, too. I've had to use my French 3 times on my home territory. We can get Spanish translators on the 911 line pretty quickly but other languages can take a few minutes so I've used it on a medical call, a shooting and to give directions to the Camarillo outlets to some lost French tourists. My French was not very pretty but it got the job done.
-
Congrats on the last chemo round Marlana!

"Oh sweet brief respite"
Ah geez, I don't know what "she" is talking about....... I don't know what she is doing with her coffee pot, and apparently, neither does the pot!
You know Marla, you got me to thinking...... One time my little Daughter had something going on there, and she could hardly walk... So I said "Let me have a look" and saw this infected ingrown hair, THERE!!!!!! And I thought "Oh holy God I don't want to do this"... But I got a needle, held it in the fire with a pliers, and lanced that thing, and it worked..... Oh man, I never wanted to do THAT again.... Poor THING!
But hot packs helped lessen the pain, before I did it...... Glad your....um.. problem is better.
Oh Sass... Yes that IS you! You and me together, giving it our all, every day! You ain't kidding ME... Maybe little Loverly will buy that, but we are too much alike... except I ain't as educated as you... Hah! I just pretend a lot.
Morning Sabel! Okay... what is "yurt sounds even better" stuff?
And yes, RECYCLING!... Here in Denver, we have these big purple roll-out bins... We throw our recycles all in one bin! They come every two weeks, driving down the alley, emptying everyone's "stuff!"
All plastics, tin, aluminum, paper, and glass go in one bin! Nope, no garbage! I don't like for DH to even throw a kleenex in there! I am the "bin-monitor"....
Thank you Susan! A cute little mouse! Ha!
Jazz? You are restricting the birds? Hah! So you give them a cold shower?
Sass is talking about nuts? Am I missing something here? Or not drinking enough?
Fraygee! I LOVE Key Lime pie! Haven't had it in forever... You hang in there girl! I'll fix you milk-toast... like my Mom always did....
WTH is she TALKING about??????? And you know WHO..too!
Hah!!! Loverly, I'm with you babe! I don't have a clue.... Just carry-on, like we usually do... I'm just getting a kick out of this......

I feel like I'm reading something from down in the rabbit-hole! Smarty, you are trying to instruct something to Sass?
Oh Tres-WHAT? You can't sleep? But if you stick around here, and read this thread, it will keep you awake forEVER, mainly because you won't have a clue as to what we are talking about! Man, I just hope you work yourself THOUGH all those meds! It's just hell, when we can't feel normal, and things just aren't right. Take care, my friend!
Sass, don't give her any advice right now... I'm going to lay you down, cover you up, shut out the lights, and lock the door.
Mema, you wrote a poem? But where is it? Sorry .... You must have a hormone malfunction....... we get those....
Tres-WHAT? Not you too? And Loverly is speaking French? Like I can understand. And YOU can't be responsible for your actions? What about SASS?? She posts here like she knows what she's doing, and I'm all sitting here trying to understand........stuff!
No Sass... don't try and understand... we don't know French... THEY do, and they even know how to spell it... just pretend you "got it!" Except they'll KNOW!
Oh Good God Beaches! You are here trying to make sense! That is so appro-po! Ha! You just make me laugh!....
Tres-WHAT?.... I hope you have a better day in french! Ha!
NO! Don't go PMing her Loverly! She will use that against you!
Look how cute you are Mags! So sweet! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Marla! WTH? You speak " Franglispanitgerm "???????????????????
I think that's what fertilizes the eggs, right?
Oh now I can't get a normal "font"!
So oh well.... So fun reading you guys this morning.... xoxoxo
-
boy oh boy were you guys having fun !! I been sleeping good for quiet awhile now. Steroids make me sleep. Weird right. But weird fits me. Love to be out of the box. Just don't want anything out of me ha ha ha...no it's back in and is all well again. Was with some friends knitting, they were talking about sad drama in their life's. Wow, I wasn't in the mood. In my head I was saying, just keeping my head above water here, even my uterus is hanging on by a thread...he he he
Was at dinner with my mom last night for her birthday. Finally got the car keys away from her. Dementia and driving is a no no. She sees neurologist Thursday, so we will see what stage he diagnosis her at. I don't think she should be alone. We will see what he says and the home inspectors.
Have a good Saturday .. I have the whole day free, well until dinner, we are meeting friends. I am not sure what to do !! Maybe long walk, a little laundry, some cleaning, and of course knitting, working on a jumper that would fit a 4 year old.
Marlanab, congrats on last chemo. Big celebration when you feel better

Chevy, do you know how cami is doing?
