I use Chrome but also have Internet Explorer on my computer. Oddly, today Chrome gives me an error message--it cannot access BCO--but if I log on with IE, no problem. BCO is the only site I've discovered that isn't accessible to me using Chrome. Any suggestions? It's not my network, or IE would not work, right?
-
Hi Carol. That's odd. Chrome is working for us right now. Please try later, and let us know if you still have the problem.
-
Hi again Mods. Still having the same problem with ACTIVE TOPICS. Before it was with my tablet and clearing the cache seemed to resolve the problem. Today it was with my phone, cleared cache and it didn't change anything....it was still only current when I logged out.
-
Hi mods, Chrome did indeed work for me about a half hour after I posted. So all is well!
Carol
-
Hi Mods, No problems here. Just wanted to thank you for everything you do for us here on BCO!!
-
thanks slowdeepbreaths!
And thank YOU and all of our incredible members for all YOU do!

A million cyber kisses for letting us know about using the plain text editor button. Finally I can get back to using the lymphedema thread where my fellow LE friends can support me.and I can help the newbies I missed all that knowledge
-
Mods: The thread "A retreat for peaceful...." (link below) has always jumped back to old posts ever since I've been following it. This morning it's jumping back to the first part of may again, but it never open up where I last closed it. Can you take a look? Thanks

Mods, maybe you should make a separate thread about the plain text editor button so that more people will see it.
-
MinusTwo, sorry for the glitch. We're looking into it.
Ruthbru, great suggestion, thanks!

android phone will not keep me logged in. When I try to log in the site will not accept correct password. Only way I can log in is to hit the password reset, go to link from email and re enter password twice. That works even resetting to original correct password. But then won't stay logged in ...the next time I visit site I have to do it all again. Any suggestions?
-
Hi Kareenie,
Our security features require a new log on every 24 hours. Do you have a feature on your android that will remember your passwords and usernames so all you have to do is hit log in?
--The Mods
-
Yes I have the screen name and password memorized. But when I hit "log in" the site tells me the memorized password is wrong. If I retype it, the site tells me it is wrong. So I have to reset the password every time. Needless to say this is getting old.

I am still having problems on bc.org with my iPad version 3. Severe lag problems, unable to post a link in the right place (the link usually ends up at the top of the page, or enmeshed in the first word I have typed on the page. Most of the time I type out my response in my iPad notes section and cut and paste it in the reply box.
-
Kareenie -- we've reported your issue to the tech team. We'll let you know what we hear!
Whippetmom -- we don't have a complete fix for this yet, but have implemented a work-around. If you click "Use plain text editor" next to the submit button below the text box, and then type your message, that should help with the lag. We hope to have a more permanent solution at some point in the future!
We hope this helps!

Mods - I haven't been able to submit a post on "So Whats for DInner" this evening. Also can't even copy any the links that were posted. I did do a test to "middle age women" and that allowed me to submit. Help. Thanks
-
Minus, Me too.... and Bedo. The preview, submit, and use plain text editor buttons are not functioning/active. I was going to post about my over doing in preparation for a special lunch tomorrow and have been thwarted!

Mods - still some weird things on at 'whats for dinner'. If I look back at past page, I'm stuck & have to close the thread & loose post. I'll head for nighty-night and check tomorrow.
Susan - guess we really didn't want to post anyway. Dinner was 2 flour tortillas spread with butter & covered w/shredded Mexican Cheese and nuked before rolling. Oh well, it's 11:30pm and I'm just now eating. I'm up for the road trip to Bedos.

Hi:
I tried to block a member because I find their avatar distasteful. Unfortunately, there it is (the objectionable avatar) staring me in the face whenever I open my dashboard. Is there a way to make that disappear?
Thanks,
BarredOwl
-
BarredOwl, we'll PM you and try to help.

Hi mods. I have been trying to open up a post that Melissa Dallas wrote on "check your vitamin D", weeks ago, it's in my favorites, but i have tried everything, and it just goes everywhere else but there, when I click on it. I have even tried clicking on her name, and it doesn't even take me to her! This has been happening for a couple of weeks, but I just haven't let you guys know till now! Any idea?
-
Hi Tomboy -- it sounds to us like either Melissadallas deleted her post, or the thread has been deleted, which is why it won't take you there when clicked on. Not sure why you're having issues when clicking on her username -- it should take you to her profile, unless of course you have accidentally blocked her. You can check on and unblock members/threads you have blocked in your Dashboard.
Please let us know if you're continuing to see the issue!

Thanks, mods! Yeah it was just weird! I will try again, could you find it yourselves? It is in my favorites list. I don't think I blocked her,but I will go and look. Thanks for all that you do!
-
Yeah, no, she is not blocked. But when I click on her name it also takes me to the welcome page with all of the categories and subjects. But, also today, when I hit the back button to find something, it also takes me to some other page! Something wonkitty for sure! Until she posts again somewhere, I can't find her! I would love to add her to my friends, and I have something to ask her, but It won't let me!
-
Tomboy - just for grins, I checked and can access Melissadallas from Member List and see where she's still posting. Maybe I can run interference. What the name of the thread? (this is funny since I may be the least technical person on here). Or maybe I can PM her and get her to PM you?
-
Thanks, Minus, its' so sweet of you to offer! It's int he 'Not Diagnosed But worried' section and it is called 'Check Your Vitamin D'.... It has been in my favorites, and it said she did a new post a little while back, but I can never get there, for some reason! You don't have to, I was just curious what her newish post said, there's only about 7 posts all together. If I find her again, I will add her as a friend, so I can find her! You are the best, Minus!!
-
Tomboy - I couldn't find that thread but again, I'm sort of computer challenged. I did send her a PM to either post here or try to contact you through the member list. Hope it works.
-
I wonder if someone can help me, Everytime I log out and then log back in it doesnt recognize my password, I have had to reset it about 7 times, I have checked and double checked it. Any thoughts?
