Hi all. Been MIA for several weeks. Sold my home, packed up and moved (temporarily I'm happily homeless) and retired effective 2 days before the CA trip. Had great fun with badger and the others. Check out badger's thread link above. Will try and start up posting again next Friday but being in limbo is not really conducive to getting online so don't be surprised if I'm still irregular until at least mid to end-August when I will finally land in FL.

Totally late this week! Being Summerfest week (the World's Largest Music Festival), I've been out late listening to music, drinking and eating. But, doing lots of walking, so that helps.
NM, hope you are feeling better
Patoo, good luck during the transition and move. That can be so stressful.
Badger, thanks for the compliment. My new job needed a pic and I think my daughter did a nice job for me. I start tomorrow and am a little nervous. I will be working in the office for a Naturopathic Doctor. I'm very excited to work in a field that I am so passionate about.

HI Birdies,
I've fallen off the wagon. I haven't stopped eating low carb, but between menopause and not exercising, I'm significantly UP.
So here is my start for 2016 and I hope I can take off the 20 lbs I gained this year.
Monday, January 4, 2016

Water goal (100 oz)
Exercise (even though I recently sprained and ankle)
There, I have a starting point now.

Hi zogo, please join us on the Let's Post our Daily Exercise thread: https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/58/topics/741082?page=920#idx_27575 where we are a bunch of fun people at all different levels who post to keep ourselves motivated to get some movement in each day. We have some who are nuts (said in a loving way) and others who may only be walking to the mailbox but they are moving and that is the idea. Positive support is the idea behind the thread. Come on by.
-
hi Jane, ouch on sprained ankle! I also hang out at Let's Post our Daily Exercise and join patoo in welcoming you (and anyone else reading) to c'mon by. We are all ages, stages & fitness levels.
Gained maybe fifteen lbs over the holidays but since Jan 1 have lost nine so back on track.
Happy New Year! ♥
-
badger, love the poster.

I found a reference to this group and wondered if anyone might want to start the point system again? It was always good accountability.
