Ms. Chevy, I can't believe you are painting your fence and then your house?! Inside or outside? No falling, ok? I am glad you are keeping busy doing what you love. Rosie looks like she could be related to one of my friends' mom with the high cheek bones and sweet smile. You reap what you sow Ms. Chevy...good for you! You both are blessed. I learned from a friend a few years ago that life is about relationships. You can have all the things that the world has to offer and not find joy if you don't have love. Almost forget to answer your question about where I live- I live at the border of a rural area and suburb. There is a nice trail near my home that separates the community and a large open field where cows graze.

HI1, glad you had fun on your cruise. Moving is so stressful until you get everything in its place, then it feels good. I really want to downsize to a smaller house. I am tire of spending precious time cleaning. We would need to give away a lot of things. It seems like the longer you live in a house, the more stuffs you accumulate. I wish I could live like a minimalist.

Ms SASS, got a good laugh with dummy Annie. Man, I would pee in my pants if I saw and thought what you thought. I used to have nightmares about the basement in the hospital because I was told that is where they keep expired people. I know I am off haha.

Anyway, we had a good time in Yellowstone. Saw many animals in their natural habitats. The scenery was spectacular....so serene and beautiful. Oh and the smell of the forest and wild flowers....I wish I can share that with you. You just have to be there. Will post pictures soon.

Hi my lovelies! Okay, about that mysterious rash? You know, years ago, I would get these rashes, and then hives, for some un-godly reason. I tried EVERYthing I KNEW to figure it out. Went to Dermatologists, and Allergists.

I finally figured it out on my OWN, after 3 years of this! I would get this worse, like every month... I kept track... I finally asked for an estrogen shot... because the once a month thing just seemed to point to a hormone imbalance. I had a hysterectomy 3 years before, and this all started about 3 months after that.

That shot wound me up in Emergency! My face blew up like a tomato, I couldn't open my eyes... Man, that was miserable... I was even scared to see what I looked like! But THEN I figured out if that ESTROGEN had THAT much of a reaction, and made me WORSE, then it MUST be some sort of imbalance! The Dermatologist put me back on THE PILL! And it all got better.

So THAT skin problem came from "inside".... The LAST time, was from using "Hot Spot Spray" on our little Lacee! THAT took me forever to figure out. I would spray it on her... with gloves... BUT then when I would pet her, I got it all over my hands again... I was allergic to Mercaptaben-something in the spray.

Both times I had to figure this out on my own.... because THEY don't know what we are doing...

Fence almost finished on one side! Next comes the house.... then the car! Ha! Actually I already touched up my car... and it turned out pretty good! See, I scraped the paint on my lower right quarter-panel.. on a wire-mesh paper shredder! But I finally sanded, sanded some more, then sprayed on primer... then the actual color, THEN the finishing glaze...

I should open my own paint shop business...

I've been in a depressed fog. DSS still in tx with meme. 3rd week missung them like crazy. They are supposed tobe home sat. The time I thought Dh and I would spend as a honeymoon has turned out not to be. With me miserable all the time and dh just completely exhausted and beat down we've barely spoken at all. Hangung in here but often wondering why.

Lovely - Oh install service is fine. I just scheduled it for a day when DH is off so he can deal with any complications. I have the AC checkup service for the same day. For years DH has been unreachable at work. Try having major reconstruction done with unexpected problems. And you know I always make the wrong decision lol. So if I can I make those kind of stuffs happen on his day off. Oh speeding tickets. I spent 3 years doing hospice nursing. So, so, so surprised I never got one there. Now the rural hospice esp. at night I might have talked myself outta one, the hospice was well known in the area. The other 2 years were metro so prolly not. DH did get us thru a construction area one night about 1 am. Talked guy into letting us thru. Well come to think of it I did get stopped twice, once for no license plate light and once for speeding just entering town. Both warnings.

Low and behold DH did bathe the dog last night. But dumb dog tried to hide all night from us. I understand hiding b4 a bath but after??. I do believe she's getting a bit senile at 8. Have you seen ProPlan has a "bright mind" dog food for seniors? Wish I could find a trial size. But not for just a bit, she just got a new bag of her food and geesh at the price it is I have to use it up. She is still barfing occasionally. And turns up nose at food occas. all day. And it's not like lots of excitement around here disturbing her routine.

Oh Patty wish I was closer to you. We could at least hang out by your pool and shoot the breeze. Know that I'm thinking of you and praying for you and your family.

Patty I hear you. The QOL thing just keeps getting narrower... tinier. I never feel good any more. Right now it's constant digestive gut issues. I look pregnant.. belly distended. Stool is getting through, but eating makes me feel like I swallowed a brick. I didn errands yesterday and crashed. Saw onc Monday labs are fine except, white count (which would be up because of resovling spider bite- which is taking it's sweet time). Anyway CT and MRI Friday no news until next week I am sure. ILC can mets to abd and lining, stomach etc.. Something is definitely wrong. Cancerland is just so much fun fun fun.

I did eat the best blueberries yesterday... they went down well. Huge heat wave expected here by Friday 99-104 and record breaking is forcasted. This is the driest and hotest June I can remember. We are having folks over Saturday for BBQ and taking the kids to a festival in 104 heat.. OY. We will see how long I last.

Maple bacon donuts just gross me out, can't figure out why they are so popular. We have a popular farm stand/ orchard that sells apple spice donuts.. to die for warm with coffee or hot cider.

My DH is getting older, and hating it.... He swears he will not be here long enough to even WORRY about having the house painted. I know he is depressed, but HELL, aren't we ALL sometimes? He would NOT take anything either.... Would rather be crabby and complain.

Does this come with age? Because I'm sure not worried about getting older.... We are just plain lucky to even BE here! And I have things to DO.... and not worry about getting older.....

I have to paint, and water my gardens, and enjoy it ALL. I just hate to always be facing a Debbie-downer..... Sometimes I can't help but laugh when he says something so whiny and "poor-me" crap. Oh well..... I have too much to do to worry about it.

Yes I would think about putting her on the Bright Mind stuff. But like I said just bought Yikes another $55 bag of dog food so not gonna be soon. She seems back to her old self today. Sometimes she will try to hide if she's pooped in the house - a very rare occurrence for her. She's been sleeping all day on her blankie pillow. No barfs, eating like usual. I give her only about 15-20 little bites at a time so less she can barf.

I just started my chemo yesterday and feel pretty good. Went up today and got my neulasta shot Stopped by a health food store and bought some matcha tea.

In my jammies now and plan on taking it easy. I feel good!

Frey- glad you are on the other side of the first infusion. I hope the SEs are minimal for you and it sounds like you are taking it easy, which is a good thing. You have lots of ladies here who have done chemo and can help you with great advice.

Some good news on the work front. I went in on a teaming arrangement with a tech firm here in town on an RFP for some work with the state and we won! Now I am busy getting some work done to be ready for the subcontract agreement we need to get in place next so we will be ready to go when they start sending new projects our way. Whoot whoot!

Patty, my dear, so sorry things did not turn out as planned....bummer. Rough road you are traveling on. With little or no quality of life, I think even saints would become like Eeyore !! Who wouldn't? How is your thyroid level now? Sometimes we just need a little help from conventional drugs to help us function as normal as possible--whatever that is. As mom with young children, we are not only fighting for ourselves, but for our kids. As human, we only have so much strength to endure the brutal battle before we feel defeated. I think the sex therapist, aka Ms. Sass, has a point in regard to skin to skin contact. If it leads to more, then embrace it gratefully. BC is hard on our spouses also. They tag along with us down the same path. Some bail out because it's too much for them to handle. Keep your focus on the Savior. It has helped me during my difficult times. To Him be the glory. Wish you were nearby so I can give you a real hug.

FrenchFrey, glad to hear you are feeling good. Hoping for no bone pain with Neulasta.

Goats, have you tried giving your pup Bison? My Sis' dogs has/had allergies. The poodle mix used to get chronic ear infections and skin rashes and the dachshund would get skin problems until she changed their food to Bison. Salmon did not help....I am not surprised if they were farm raised fed with GMO junk and contaminated with antibiotics and other chemicals.

Jazzy, for trying to enjoy life. Sounds like you have an ideal job which allows you to have down time so you can find joie de vivre.
