Happy dance Blondie!!! I hope your trip is the bestest. Marlana hope things are doable for you.
I am highly irritated right now. Our local hospital sent us to collections for our refusal to pay a 100 ER penalty that we would not have incurred had they sent our DD to mental health treatment but they didn't they booted her home.... only to end up at the ER via police the following day! Then another 100 ER fee! Then I found out through our insurance had the hospital coordinator pushed and made phone calls DD could have been admitted but they sent her home saying everything was closed to us for the weekend- in fact there were open beds. So we had all this hassle and drama and 200 fines for absolutely no treatment other then "holding cell" for a suicidal 12 year old. We didn't even take her to the ER the cops did! Still we get fined 100.00 for ZERO benefit. Anyway the collection folks were their usual "drastic measures will be taken if you do not pay up by 9pm tonight or no later then 3pm tomorrow." What BS. I will never use their ER again for any reason.. might not use them for anything at all. They can kiss my ass if they ever see any of our business. Vote with your wallet!
I had a bunch of what I thought were unneeded tests - duplicates of the ones I had in late Jan and late Feb my onc wanted.. at this same facility. I cancelled them. If they think I am handing them over 2K worth of tests, scans- revenue etc.. after our ER experiences - which on numerous occassions have sucked or been harmful.. they are crazy. I have an onc visit on Monday and I am so irritated already. Stupid office visits are waste of time. We sit and stare at each other. He never answers me, or gives me ridiculous answers and gets paid nearly 250 and I always leave wondering what exactly I got out out of the encounter. I am too disgusted to change oncologists again.. they are all the same.. Mr. Potato heads.. different features same guts. Besides I already had my DWD office visit here and need only to hand in the paperwork to finish and pay 3k for the drugs. Who knows what hassles await in another practice. I am so disgusted with everything.. I never feel good ever.. just only gets worse and worse..if you take the drugs it's miserable... miserable if you don't... miserable if you do. Depressing. I am going to go to bed. Venting has only made me feel guilty for dumping.. thanks for listening. Blondie how's hospice? Maybe I should switch gears.. I just need to get to August to watch my youngest until camp, then school. I am tired. Cancer can win.

And I remember when a Trojan was our "friend."
I know this is a silly question, but do you have a program like Norton? Or McAfee? And can you "block" mail that looks funny when it comes in, and not open it? And do you have a small-size .22 caliber weapon if all else fails?

Good morning friends!

-
-
Sure will Jazz.
-
Jazzy--I live 4 miles from the beach and yet I rarely go! I guess that comes with living my whole life, even my college years, within a short distance from the shore
-
sas--good luck with the virus. Ignore Chevy's advice about a small caliber weapon. You may need something like a Glock .40
-
Marlanb- how are the SEs today? I hope you are hanging in there.
I grew up by the beach on the east coast and always miss it this time of the year. My sister is back east and telling me about her beach time, although she says the water is very cold in June! I remember that part too. Despite the desert setting, I have lots of beachy flip flops!
-
SE's are okay. I just have zero energy--I got tired just walking 20 feet to the bathroom! Sheesh!
I think the cold is the reason I don't go to the beach. It's supposed to be in the upper 70's here this weekend but then the beaches get crowded and I hate crowds!
-
Sassy, I have used MacAfee in the past. If I get a funny looking email from someone I know, I send them a separate email asking if they sent it. Usually the answer is no. I delete anything that looks funny or comes from an unknown website. How long have you had this computer? I would try to back up any photos or urgent items on to a thumb drive. There's a chance they may have to wipe the hard drive and reinstall. Are you sure the site that says you have all these problems trustworthy? I would run a scan from someone else as well and see if you get the same results. Could be the virus remover itself is a scam.
-
I don't go to the beaches either, just a few minutes away from Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf is like bath water now, about 85 degrees. No freezing there!!
-
The beach just sounds lovely in my mind. Then reality sets in about how easily I sunburn, how much sun lotion it takes and how I have to eventually put on cover up clothing in the heat. Rit dye makes a package that you wash into clothing to make it spf 50.
-
Sunburn is just another reason I don't go. Could go watch the sunset, they can be spectacular. Crowds, car gets full of sand, nah. I'm here because it doesn't snow here.

Spookie, I don't complain allot do I? I talk about DBF and booboos, but I'm not a complainer I don't think. But now I'm going to just whine. It's 8:30 friday night. The landline phone is broke. The cell phone died months ago. Computer is going to have to go back to the factory again, but I can't call HP b/c I don't have a phone. DBF is working(really), not just being bad. You know I'm a yakker---doesn't everyone? I can't even call 911. I may have to get back under the table to try to fix the phone. But last night was a hoot trying to get down on the floor when I couldn't kneel on the booboo knee, then I had to get up, then down.....worst of all I have no wine for my whine. Thanks about feeling better---I love swimming--it's fresh, not like work at all. Now warm to boot. Schatzi runs along side the pool end to end, and I get kisses at each end. She worries when I'm in the water. She was so sweet when I fell, licking me and fussing.
Jazzy, glad you enjoyed the jazz stuff. That poster (the blue and orange one) is very rare. That was an archive pic. When I searched years ago they didn't even show it in the pictoral history from the beginning till what ever year it went to at the time. It's the first I think. A relative was stunned when she saw it. She knew someone who collected them.
Mags whaat was that sassypants pic for? it was before being under the table ......so it must have been from something else?
-
Wren, the security is AVG it's working new license so it's current. last night I called my tech buddy and they did a clean up. Used DBF's phone. No clue why the phone died. Undid everything and replugged in......I have a dialtone, but it won't send or receive calls. ???????
Computer is 1 yr old. With the computer what I'm seeing more frequently is flashing. That was one of the issues it went back to the factory in May. They changed a battery. The computer never flashed for them, but it's on the problem list. They warranted the problem list items for 90 days. I have until july 11th to decide whether to send it back.
??????????????

-
Jazzy, looks like you are having a fun Friday night?
-
I'm glad Somebody is having fun!! My usual boring night here. Sas, you should be able to use your Kindle instead of 'puter? Wifi? Do you have a Best Buy close? They usually have good prices on land line and cell phones. We don't have land lines any more, cell only.
Going to bed soon, nite all.
