    Koo, I would call and insist on an earlier date. It doesn't take much for the Dr. To ease your mind, and tell you results. Having been through this just four weeks ago, I think it is insane. The nurse called me the next day and told me the radiologist says it looks pretty b-9, but wanted to do just a couple of more stains......but wanted me to know because she knows patients are anxious. Then they called two days later to confirm for sure.I thought that was so sweet of her.

    Do call and be assertive .

    Thanks so much for your response, artsee. Because my care is through the hospital breast care clinic, they advised in advance that they have systems in place and that it would be a fair wait for any results, and, basically, "Don't call us. We'll call you". Wish I were private because it would be different then. Very frustrating. One thing this has all taught me is patience. It's just been one long waiting game every step of the way.
