    mommacat and LvinAz, I am back in Charlotte again helping out with new granddaughter. Hard to stay away. Her parents really appreciate the help too. Anyway, how about we shoot to get together sometime in May or June. Sounds like mommacat has a busy end of the school year coming up. Just let me know when is a good time for either of you. I am pretty flexible. We can certainly get together at my house so we can hang out and chat about whatever if you know what I mean. I can send my husband on his merry way.

    Joan, that sounds like a plan to me. My weeks are kind of full but usually by Friday and the weekend my schedule thins out a bit.

    When will you be back in town? Sounds like you are also busy with the family. It's a beautiful thing.

    Back in town for a few days then out again to visit other granddaughter. They are keeping me busy. Does the week of May 18th work or else I suggest that we plan for the first week in June.

    Mommacat4 and I met for a little chat session at Wildflower Baking Co. last Friday. Time flew and 3 hours later we said good-bye... for now. Anyone want to join us next time, just let us know. It is always good to put faces with those avatar names!

    Joan, it was great to meet with you. This is actually the first time I have had to be on this thread since we met up. I think. Time just flies by too quickly. We should meet up again and of course anyone else is welcome to join us. I had fun talking with you And sharing pictures of our families. It was great.

    AZ85048, maybe we can meet next Saturday. As long as it's in an air conditioned location. I know Joan was going to see her grandchild again but I don't know if she is or will be back by then. I hope so. I can contact her and find out. If you have a place in mind please let us know.

    That sounds great! Just pick a place and a time. I live about 30 miles south of Glendale, so pick anywhere you like, and I can get there - it's a big city....

    Hi, Joan - Sorry, but June 27th I'll be meeting up with Vinnie Myers in California for 3D tattoos, so that's out. Let me know what you come up with for July. Another option is that I can also do evenings, but wouldn't be able to meet you until probably 6 or 7 PM, depending on the location....just let me know!

    Where are you meeting Vinnie in California? I didn't know he worked away from the east coast. It will be four years this summer since I was diagnosed and my tattoos are beginning to fade, may need a "re-do" down the road.

    I have been wanting to get the Vinnie tattoos also. Just have not had time to really look in to it much. Have a bit of a hesitation since I have mild lymphedema in my right arm. Wondering if the tattoos process would make it worse. I am thinking that it would not, but not sure. Have to consult with my LE therapist about it, I guess.

    Meet up? I can do Sunday, July 8th or possibly July 18th. Does that work for anyone else? If you don't mind driving to Anthem, I would be willing to host at my home. Otherwise, anyone have suggestion for anywhere else?

    Golden01 and joan888 - My first 'date' with Vinnie was on January 8 - but my skin was so thin that he wasn't at all sure how well it would retain the ink. This trip to California is so he can finish what we started. I'm nearly six months down the road now and he thought it would be beneficial if I were to heal completely as that will give him a better idea of my ink retention capabilities. This secondary layer of color should complete the process. (But even if he leaves them just as they are today, I would be ecstatic. I never expected them to make such a huge difference, but they do - they really do.)

    I see that you're both on the picture forum. If you're interested, my thread is on the first page of the Under Construction section, called 'Creasetina is Gone....'. I know it's a really l o n g thread, but if you go to page 56, post 836, you'll see my Vinnies in all of their glory! And by the time I see you in July, I'll have the finished product! (Nothing like seeing me nekked before you even meet me, right?) ...but quite honestly, modesty went out the window a long time ago.

    Joan - the 8th is a Wednesday (did you mean the 11th?) - but the 18th is a Saturday. Either one is fine with me. Just send me a PM with your address, a date, and a time, and we'll call it a date!

    Ooops. Not sure what calendar I was looking at. How about Sunday afternoon, July 12 or Saturday, July 18th? How does that work?

    Gosh, I have not looked at the picture forum in a few years. Sort of forgot about it. I am very interested in meeting Vinnie, but will have to stall off until after mid-October. Will have to check his schedule for this fall.
