Teka, do they stick around. I have only seen them one time migrating through both at my house and at my mom's. I think it was in May. They are so beautiful.

Beauties Lisa!

This is my best shot of the female she has a lizard in her mouth for the nest.

We found them at a national park on the west coast of Costa Rica. The drive took two hours but was worth it.

Our last baby robin fluffed up his/her wings today and flew away! Now we can have our deck back for the summer.

Teka, I didn't know there was such a thing as a black squirrel. I bet they enjoyed the treat.

Lisa, I am amazed that you can take pics with one hand. When do you get your brace off. That will be a happy dance time.

I found a nature center at my mom's that has 17 hummingbird feeders all in a row. My sister said they had 25 last year. I saw more hummers last night that in my lifetime. So fun. I didn't have my "bird camera" with me so didn't get as close up as I would have liked. I am going to go back today and see if I can get some better shots. Will post if I can. Have a great Memorial weekend.

We had goldfinch at our seed feeder yesterday. I think they are first to discover it. I'm hoping we see more. They are so cheerful looking.

As I ride out shingles for the third time I can only post now and not shoot. I got these pics recently when staying with my mom for three weeks. This was a nature center and they had a ton of feeders out for the hummingbirds. This is my first attempt at shooting hummers. I still have lots to in shooting these.

You can see me in the reflection in the second pic.  Not planned. LOL
