Had a small crisis this morning. Ran out of the facial cleanser I had been using and I knew I had a brand new tube of a cleanser from Avon. Went to get it out of the cabinet where I had put it to find it gone! Tore the bathroom apart looking for it, still couldn't find it. So I called DH to ask him if he had seen it since I had gotten it, only to be told that he had moved it. I tore the batroom again, still no facial cleanser. So I called him again and he still insisted that he had moved it somewhere but he couldn't remember, told him I thought he was lying to me and thinking this was funny! So back I go to the bathroom to tear it apart for the third time, only to find the object of my search behind my hubby's stash of emergency disposable razors! Had to call him back and apologize and to tell him that I had found it!

*Blondie*

-
Hi Blondie, great to hear from you!!!!!
-
Mommy- I get upset when I cannot find something either, which is constant around here. Glad everything is okay.
Blondie- hi sister, good to see you posting here. Sorry about the vision and hope that improves.
Hol- Teka really loves GC. I think that is her doctor of choice.
Lots of rain here again, the El Ninjo cycle that is back in the west doing it's thing again. Sun is trying to peak out, but more rain will come today into tonight. More Saturday and then next week. Chevy, my guess is you may be getting some of this too (or more snow?) We need the moisture, and think we may have a cooler wetter summer. They have been forecasting a wet spring and it is here to stay I think?
-
nooooooooooo more snow for chevy!!!!!! It gives her snow brain!!!!!!!
-
I will be money that Denver may have gotten snow. Northern NM did. It can snow up north well into May, right Chevy? Nothing like spring in the Rockies!

Morning, still on kindle. Paid Hp the extra 15$ to have computer back in a week. IIt's now nine days.
JAZzy working a problem. Could you remind me what doc ordered the Vitamin D3 --5000 unit? Thanks. El Nino for us on the east coast, usually means a light hurricane season.
Blondie sorry about the eyes. Glad you had fun at the race with the kids.
Chevy just cuz you get up with the chicken and go to sleep with the birds(sundown). Doesn't t mean we are all for the birds.
LOVERLY YOo HOo ARE THEY TreATING you well?
-
hi all, loveroflife should be home in a couple more hours. She was first this morning. I had the same doc the first sx, he's really nice. So hopefully she'll pop in soon.
I think I did something kind of stupid this morning. I like the Purex 3-1 sheets for the washer and dryer. Purex stopped making them. I have bought them from Amazon, but they're now out or too expensive. So I found some on eBay. I just order 2 batches of 6 for $150! That should keep us clean for 2 years!! It works out to .57 a load. It was nice when I could get them for $5 a box. This works out to $12 a box. Oh well, I like what I like. As long as we dont run out of water I can do laundry.
Blondie and Patty, sorry for the ills, hope your both doing better
-
I'm pretty good at finding where I put stuff, its the times that either I forget where I put it or someone moves it and doesn't tell me where it went that puts me off kilter! I mean I won't even let my mom near my cabinets to try and organize them if she comes down to my house. She rearranges everything and it takes me at least a month afterwards to get everything back to the way I am used to it being. Don't know if this a result of having to deal with chemobrain or just I am so used to my way of doing things!
-
First, I would like to give Patty and MS.BLONDIE A HUG. HOPE YOU HAVE ABETTER DAY TODAY.

-
Thank you everyone for thinking about me. In pain and very sleepy.....,

Thinking of you Loverly! xoxoxo
Blondie..... take care kiddo.... Hope they or you figure out why you can't see....
-
Blondie- are you on any pain killers? I have a hard time focusing when I am taking them.
Sassy- my PCP was the one who told me to up my Vit D. My Vit D was always on the low side. I was taking 1000 ius per day. I upped it to 2000 and still low so she said try 4-5K. That was my last physical in July of last year. Blood work in March had me at 50 for a reading, the best it has ever been (used to be like 20 or so). There is a concern with Vit D toxicity, so you have to be careful with the stuff.
Speaking of my PCP, I saw her this afternoon for my breathing issues and told her I thought it was my asthma. But as we were talking, I also said "well, since my breathing has been bothering me off for a bit and I have been feeling tired, it made me start to work more might be going on with my lungs. I worry ever little ache and pain and that the cancer may be back." So she said "lets do a chest X-ray" and my films were good. Whew. I was more worried than I realized, despite knowing my asthma and typical symptoms. But knowing bc mets to the lungs, I figured I would bring it up as a "can we rule this out please?" She heard me and we got an answer quickly on that today. This was my first lung X-ray since I was diagnosed in 2012 and they went looking to make sure it was not anywhere else. Makes me feel good to know my lungs are just struggling with asthma (and that is enough). I am doing Advair treatments now.
-
I had a chest X-ray a few months ago, because I smoke. And I'll admit to being worried too. It was clear. Yea for us!!!!!
-
Spookiesmom- have you ever wanted to quit? My Mom and brother simply love smoking. They would not give it up. Some folks enjoy it. I quit in 1989 weaned myself off... very hard. I do know some who used the nicotine patches and swear they work. It's a very expensive habit.
My brother bought a machine and buys the tobacco loose, wrappers and filters and rolls his own. Apparently it's crazy cheaper to do that and ends up being a nicer smoke. You can pick your own tobacco and roll just what you like. He keeps a box (from a name brand cigarette) and just fills it up with his home made cigarettes. Of course the tobacco companies don't want people to know they can make a cigarette themselves. He makes all my Mothers cigarettes too and cut their bill for smoking by 2/3. Not that I am advocating smoking but if you make your own at least you know what is in it.
I am glad your xray was clear both you and Jazzy.
Loveoflife- the post of the dog was so funny. I hope you feel better tomorrow and are on the mend with great results.

Did you know George Clooney was in a sitcom called ER in 1984? He played an orderly called Ace. It also starred Elliot Gould and Conchata Ferrell (from Two and a Half Men) as the head nurse.
-
Loverlyy you seem well....mellow?
Rosie that same scenario is related to mJ
BTW dear bf gave me m:j for mothers day. I put in a 1930's cigarette box. Lo an behold there was the mJ he gave me for Xmas. Memory failing, object placing apparently not.
Dutch hey girl how is it it in Wisconsin ?
-
Dutchie, George was a pediatrician in the ER drama I watched. (dr. Ross ) I will have to google it, cause now I am confused. The show I am remembering was on in the late 80s...
Chevester, thanks for the lesson on labeling the little tubes. DH has had that wax removal stuff out, same shape as eye drops. Allergy time for me. Holy crapoly, that stung...
-
; Let's try Friday with no correction of auto correct. Remember no one take offence at what's posted. Auto correct often doesn't't even co.e close foreboding all word.
See.....not correcting

My sisters, my mother, and i are going out by Cashion to get plants at the Amish greenhouse on Saturday. I'll get some tomato and pepper plants and what ever flowers I find appealing.
Google it Holeinone. I know the ER you're talking bout. It was a drama but this was a sitcom.
Sas, I know what toy mean about the typing. For some reason autocorrect took the L out of holeinone. That makes it sound like it's not about golf.
-
Yep jazzy orphine
-
loverly. hope you are feeling better
Blondie.- great to see you. How exciting you and family got out for " the walk ".
Holeinone. / see that's hilarious. I actually lol. Perfect
Dh started with a stomach bug yesterday. Some vomiting , lots of d , and small fever. Sleeping non stop. He will like never miss work because dh feels bad. He's a duck it up and do it kind of guy. He has been flat in bed Or on the pot. I have been trying to keep him locked in the bedroom. I don't want it !!!! No no no. Feel like I am not doing a great job taking care of him even though he always does for me. I am scared. Me and dh may have to leave and stay at a motel. Yeah with room service and an Indoor heated pool. Lol.
Hooting hoo
-
Holyoke hooo
-
stupid kindle
-
Sassy- Maybe you should treat yourself to a regular laptop... save the aggravation. BTW my smoking brother has zero money and my other brother (gustapo non smoker who holds the purse strings) buys the tobacco, sleeves and filters - so it is only tobacco. :-) Although might make my Mom more mellow and compliant... now there's a thought. It's not legal in Florida is it? It turns legal here in July.. treating the same as alcohol. It should be interesting.
