Sorry chevy re eddie
Watched the bruce jenner thing, loved it, thought it took alot of courage, and i really don't care what peolle do with their lives, whatever makes him happy, i would have sstayed married to him. I am sure he is a good friend to kris.
Theckids r amazing but apparently he is a good father to them, that is all they should care about. Everybody needs to mind their own businesses n let him live his life no matter what it is.
Yep i am still up slept all day, did too much 4 me yesterday
-
I did that with our old minivan, I called it "The Beast" as the dang thing cost us lots of $$$$ for repairs. When we traded it in to buy our current car, I told "The Beast" goodbye and said hello to the new car.

Morning gals.... Sass! Sorry about your Hp.... Can't you just go get a keyboard? Oh never mind.... I looked, and it's a Laptop?
It's just easier for me to have a real live computer... like this Dell desk-top. I had my own keyboard, mouse, and the modem was a snap, all here on my desk, and my EPSON all-in-one printer. I tried using my Daughter's laptop, and it was like a fish out of water! I'm just old fashioned.
Thanks guys.... Eddie is much better off... Theresa called last night after they took her back to her place... The family had all been to dinner... She was so glad they all went to be with him, and say good-by... We know he must have been looking down and heard them.....
But she sounded alright... I told George I just want to go to the funeral, and not that 10 hour Mass thing they do... I'd do anything for Theresa, but I think it is just soooooo hard on their family... I guess it's all in what you want, and believe.... Maybe it helps get him to where he's going?
We went to their Son Danny's funeral.... THAT was hard.
He had a heart-attack when he was about 55, while working out! And they finally found a heart, for him.... He was doing just great with his new heart..... Then he got cancer.. I think Lymphoma.... And the chemo just took his heart out... But losing their Son was just un-believable.... I don't know how someone goes through something like that....
Sass... I'll bet it WAS hard, for you to watch and go through your folks losing your home.
I remember my folks MOVING from our home, because Dad found a job in California... Wait... I DON'T remember ever moving! Don't remember any furniture going... no trucks... ! Damn!
I just remember moving in..... wait.... I only remember living at my Grandma's... not even moving in! But George and I were still going together. How come I don't remember my folks leaving? I just remember my brother having to join the Navy, at 17 because they were moving and selling our house... and neither one of us had a home.
I guess in other words, I chose to completely forget all the things that hurt us growing up... Well there were a few things I remembered... that came back as I got older....
Funny how your mind can do that! Well, mine anyway.
Dutchess! A "brad-nailer"??? You mean like a nail-gun? I know what an air compressor is.... How FUN you like to work with tools and garage stuff!
MammaR... Wasn't anybody up? So they DO sleep... Ha!
Rosie, your post was just detailed so pretty! I can just "see" what you did! The way you described everything, just paints a picture for US!
I don't know "bent maple" or "matlesse bedspread" either... Can't you just take a picture?
And you named your car too? Haaaaaaa! I didn't know we were supposed to! I didn't even name my fish!
Blondie! I guess Bruce Jenner is just fine.... It's just that I don't care WHAT he does, or any of the rest of that family, but they don't have to make such a big deal out of EVERY little thing they do, JUST for recognition and publicity, and for money....
He could turn into a whatEVER, but just do it and keep it to yourself... We don't all need to know how you had the world by the tail, and an assortment of wives, 6? kids, and all this time you really were a "girl" down deep inside.
Just do what you have to do, and keep your mouth shut... and don't pretend you aren't doing it for the publicity, and money your reality show will bring, and don't tell us that this will help save the world..... by your "decision".... the big "transition"...... Just do it and shut up. But they can't keep it to themselves... Television, money, and controversy rules their lives..... And they HAVE to stay in the public eye.
Cher's Daughter Chastity decided to become a man, but we didn't have to go through every little detail and mile-stone of HER "journey".... whatever.
Spookie, why aren't YOU in on this one? I just KNOW you are awake... oh wait... I didn't send you an email! I just do that in the morning.
-
Gonna go look at pain colors for the bedroom, the last paint we got for it something went rather funky since its been on the walls and its totally messed up
-
Mom2... WHAT? You don't mean "pain" colors, right? You mean plain colors...like beige, cream, white.... I "ragged" my walls many years ago, and I still love them.... A pale blue/white mix... You add "glaze" to the paint.... I just did sections at a time.... It took awhile, but ended up good!
-
I started looking at paint samples online to see what I liked and what may cover that awful color, think I may have found one!
-
I always loved and named my cars! My first one was a tiny Mazda named 'Mushu' like the little dragon in the 'Mulan' Disney movie. Then I had a little Toyota echo named 'Poochie' because it looked like a little black dog. The current one is a Toyota Camry hybrid called 'Helga' - why Helga? I can't even remember!!!!! Chemo brain .....

Happy Sunday!!!!!
-
Mommy- I have some rooms in my house with some neutral colors and then a fab accent wall. Those are fun and a way to have not too much color in a space. I love getting the color wheel and choosing.
-
Mommy and Jazzy, would you like to come to my house and help mepaint? I have boring white walls.
Rose and Ibgal, I've never thought to name my cars. I guess I would have had a hard time parting with them. Btw, those are cute names
Ms Chevy, I am glad Ms Theresa can come to you for comfort. Bless your heart.
Dutch, I can picture you in your garage practicing target shooting with your nail gun.

-
Loveroflife- oh my friend, I have a painter! She and her colleague repainted my entire house between last summer to this spring. It looks so nice, I could not even begin to tackle that on my own. But if I could help you, I would!
-
Chevy, him coming out like he will help n maybe save people, ome outh child committed suicide bc she felt so alone n nobody understood. Keeping it ubder wraps is like u r embarrassed about ig n they have nothing to b embarrassed about. Dont care ehy he put it out there, probably to save himself from the newspapers n paparazzi from making money off it, he told his story, now they have nothing.
-
I know what you are saying Blondie, but they are planning on another Reality show, for him..... I don't think anyone cares anymore, who is gay, and who is "coming out".... One of my gal-friends was married..... had 2 kids..... then found her Husband in bed with another guy when she came home one day.... They divorced, but the young kids always loved their Dad.... Her, not so much.... But everyone stayed friends....
Not many people can afford to go through what Jenner is doing.... Okay, LIVE like a woman.... or whatever you want, but the Papparazzi has their job, and of course they will follow you.... That family will make SURE the public knows everything.
The Kardashians live for that.... without all the publicity, and stupid things they do, they would not have a show. I mean them all having dinner with Kim's placenta? Then they say it was a joke? How much press did they have to call to pull THAT one off?
They crossed the line a long time ago with me.....It's like they have DONE every out-landish thing immaginable....
-
I love painting..and working with power tools. I will come and help anyone out . Just made a desk out of a sideboard from a dining room set. Love that saw. Such power
. Not fond of cleaning up
Sorry I wasn't up Ray .....
Happy Sunday all
-
Raining cats and dogs today! LOVE IT!
-
Here too Jazzy! Just a slow steady rain....45 degrees out.... Glad I got the grass-seed down! Perfect weather for the plants.
I've cooked up a pound of thick-sliced bacon pieces to put in gravy.... for the bisquits and mashed potatoes...... Will put hard boiled egg pieces on top.
That was my favorite Sunday Morning breakfast when I was little.!
-
Jazzy, the same storm must have moved east. We had much needed rain on Friday. BTW, thank you for the kind offer.
Hi1, doctors need to be sensitive and choose their words wisely. I can relate to the PTSD. Any pain throws me into a panic mode. Was diagnosed with uterine fibroid(near my bladder)and hemorrhagic cyst on right ovary last month. It sounds crazy, but I was relieved with the diagnose because I know now what was causing me occasional pain/pressure. I was told I have mutated Tp53 gene ( they don't know if there is any link between this mutated gene and breast cancer yet). This mutation put me at risk for bladder cancer among others....wonderful.
Sweet Susan, shouldn't you be resting so the Zometa could do its job to help your body be strong so itcan fight the beast?
2nd, it's wonderful that your daughter got into the nursing program! I heard that the Sac State nursing program is not easy to get into. No matter what, a mother's love remains regardless the disappointment
-
Leaning towards a nice shade of rose. Want something that will darken the room at night, but be not to dark during the day. Thinking about re-painting the room about late May as I hope to be able to help hubby with the painting by then.
-
Mommy- I did a whole bedroom (now called a wellness room) in pink. It is more like pepto bismal pink though. I love it. Very soothing!
Still raining off an on, downpours to sprinkles. I have some potato leek soup simmering in the crock pot. Spicing this batch up with some green chili this time as it can be a bit bland. Nice to have something cooking on a rainy day.
-
Pepto Bismol pink?????????? HaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaH! I have to buy some tomorrow....
-
Mamaray- I have such fond memories of teaching my kids to ride bikes and their Dad running along, both of us schrieking encouragement! One of those sacred rights of parenthood! Hope it goes well. We found that bumps, falls, tumbles etc were best on short cropped grass until some balance was learned - then the hard sidewalk and elementary parking lot. Good luck and may it be a great experience.
Yep finding a nice soothing color for a bedroom is a challenge. Wish you luck. Different light changes color so much too. Jazzy- wonderful that you are getting all that rain. We need more rain here, down so much. I got up at 4:30am fell lightly back to sleep, got up 6:30 let all the dogs out. I was soooo tired.. long nap, just crashed. DH said I was sawing wood! Ha ha. Be well ya'll.
-
Chevy- well they did not call it that but this is what it looks like!

-
Jazzy, I always feel good when I wear pink. Won't wear it during October, however.
-
Spookie and I wear pink, but I won't in October either.
-
Love pink too (magenta) and will try to remember not to wear it in October.
Jazzy, that's one cheerful room. Painted one of the wall in my older daughter's room pink one time, but had to repaint back to white because her room faced south. I just sweated bullets looking at the wall in the summer. -
Wow loveroflife, I look nothing like that picture lol.
-
HaHaha better right? -
I have always liked pink. My spare bedroom has always been pink toned so I decided to do the room that pink for the space I have created to meditate, read, do yoga, etc. I am not into the Pinktober thing either.
-
Yes, I look much better
-
lover, so are you in N. CA? Could we meet? I see your exchange is coming up soon. Excited, nervous?
Never had a pink room, don't think I'd like it. I like blue.
