@Manu14 and Kayezz66, thank you for your suggestions, things have calm down a lot, the foot and ankle pain is under control, I bought some of those shoe inserts and that has helped a lot. I haven't had a bad leg cramp in a couple of weeks, I think I will still try the chelated magnesium supplement as there is still a slight bit of pain but not as severe as before. Thank you so much!!!

Looking for some advice..... I am really worried about starting my tamoxifen... I had the tumor removed in Oct. and went thru radiation in January...My onconlogist said my oncotype score is a 4. She explained that as if I use the Tamoxifen I have a 4% chance of the cancer coming back and if I don't it doubles to 8%.... After reading all the side effects of Tamoxifen I am scared that with that low of a score is it really worth taking the Tamoxifen.... Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi Kathy - I too have a recurrence % of 4 w tamoxifen. I was in such a crazy emotional state that I didn't take it for a year. The worst thing about that year was that I knew I wasn't doing all I could to prevent a recurrence. I tried it for the second time 12 mo after my first attempt and I only had garden variety SE. Ideally we'd all be quite zen at the start but we're not. Once I was on it it was a type of freedom for me. I was doing what I could, the rest is out of my hands. I would urge you to try it. You might start a low dose of Effexor before you start - it really helps w HFs and evens out my moods. In the end if you can't do it you can't do it. Hugs!

PS I did have some endometrial issues which may be caused by T or may be just peri menopause. Just this week I opted to remove my ovaries due to my family history and also because it allows me to move to an AI.

How are you now? Your stats look the same as mine and I also refused tamoxifen and rads...

Just want you to know this is a very old thread that is not active. There are other threads that address this issue...
