Just starting Faslodex, aromatase inhibitor stopped working

my mom will be starting the Faslodex shot soon and she's concerned about the additional side effects it states. The aromatase inhibitor She was on shrunk her tumor significantly, but she still doesn't want to have surgery, has anyone used just the Faslodex

    Schnuffy, I have been receiving Faslodex shots since June 2014, and have had very little side effects. It seems so much easier than the other treatments I've received. My biggest complaint is the sore hips for awhile afterward. I'm hoping I can stay with Faslodex for a long time! Hopefully it will be a good treatment for your mom too.

    I have been on Faslodex for 62 months, 60 months of that with no evidence of disease. The side effects for MOST women are minimal. If it works for her, she will find that this is the easiest treatment available.

    I've been on Faslodex since July 2011 with negligible side effects. I'm a bit tired the day after I receive my shots. That's it. Unfortunately, some day it will stop working and I'll have to move on. It's has been a very easy med for me, so I really hope I can get more years out of it.

    I had my first Faslodex (loading dose) yesterday, as anastrazole, letrozole and Tamoxifen ALL caused me extreme discomfort with itching and joint pain.  I finished the chemo and a year on Herceptin in March.  Was trying the AI's and then Tamoxifen since last June.  Hoping the Faslodex works for 5 years with no recurrence.  I was Stage 2, with invasive ductal carcinoma, micromets in both sentinel lymph nodes on the left.  Had a bilateral mastectomy, chemo, breast reconstruction.
