Hey - live in New England and of course we are blasted with five feet of snow and cold temps.  I have been on Arimidex now since June and over the past month, have noticed a big change in my skin and hair - not completely sure if it is the weather being winter or something to do with the Arimidex and no/extremely low estrogen.

Hard to explain.....my skin just FEELS different and my hair is feeling limp and maybe thinner.........just doesn't have the "umph" that it used to.

I know I can look up side effects, etc. but would love to start a thread on this with women who are experiencing the same and what measures they have taken to alleviate yet ANOTHER possible side effect.

Oh no! I just started arimidex in November. So far skin is good and hair is just growing back from chemo but its full and wavy. I love it and want to stay this way! I'll be watching to see how others are fairing on this drug.

I just picked up my medication for the first time today, and reading the possible side effects it says possible hair loss. Hope this doesn't happen

Yes, I noticed some changes to my skin when I started aromatase inhibitors. The best way I can describe it is that it has a crepe-like texture to it. I have been off of the AIs for about 7 months now and I still have this. I don't know if it will go back to normal or not. As for hair, I have read over the years some people say that it has thinned their hair. In my case, I did not notice it thinning my hair. My hair is actually in better shape than it has in years but I think it is because I stopped dying it and don't use heat appliances on it much any more.
