What are the withdraw's of stopping tamoxifen ?

Anyone know?   I have been on tamoxifen for 2 years and 5 months . And I want to quit for many reasons.  Anyone just quit if you did

what where your withdraws ?

    I just quit. You don't have to taper off, or anything. My MO said just toss them out. Was thrilled to do that! lol. The only physical effects should be good ones! MO said I might feel better in a few weeks, but it's been about a month and I still have the joint pain, haven't lost a single pound (grrr), but it stays in your system for a long time. I am cautiously optimistic that the depression and brain fog might be lifting a bit. Fingers crossed.

    I ended my AL after 5 years, doc said just stop but in retrospect, I would suggest tapering off as it was like ending predicone and I felt nutty, but it disappeared after a week
