Does anyone have any contact information for Sharon? Weesa do you have a phone number? Prayers that she is just too busy to check in/
-
Karen, unfortunately I do not have a phone number for Sharon. Does anybody have contact with her someplace else like Facebook? She doesn't just seem like somebody who would get too busy to check in, especially when she must feel our concern from earlier in this thread.
Perhaps we should start an informal emergency contact list for those interested.

I'm officially very worried about Sharon. She was dxed not long after me, and are we fellow Stage 3C sisters. I hope she is ok.
-
weesa, one of her posts says she is Sharon Thompson on facebook. I have never exchanged private messages with Sharon before. Maybe someone can get in touch with her on facebook.

Oh my gosh. I am SOOOOO super sorry I haven't updated. I actually thought I had until Kerry (thank you again KM!) reached out to me on FB. The bone scan came back with degenerative bone changes but NO evidence of metastatic disease!!!!!!! I still need to go in for my yearly soon and will have her explain the medical lingo a bit better, but that, with my blood work being normal, looks like it's NOT BC. I am so sorry I've gotten any of you upset. I know we've had someone close to us move up a stage, and it IS all still scary. Even at 5 years out, my onc said I had a "high risk" cancer (who likes to hear that?) and ordered the scan. I just wish there was a way of knowing what is just normal wear and tear so to speak, or something more insidious. I do have to admit looking back that this pain did seem to get worse right after Jen's recurrence, so of course I got led down that road.
God bless you all for CARING and for asking! I PROMISE to do a much better job of staying in touch.
Love you all!
Sharon

So thankful all is well!!
THANK YOU Weesa for your thoughtfulness and care!! What a comfort to see the concern for a sister in pain and to know this is where I'll turn if my time of sorrow comes!!
-
What a relief. It is scary to think that any of our sisters could be having a recurrence. So glad everything is OK, and you were just out living life and not thinking about BC.
-
I am so glad you are ok! What a relief. Somehow knowing you are ok gives me hope as well

So glad all is ok with you, Sharon. So much sad news on BCO.org lately. Seems bad news is cyclical here and I have been reeling and so so sad the last several weeks. I welcome your good news, Sharon, and am glad to hear from you! -Molly
