hi ladies, Happy Friday! ♥
Friday check-in = 3 points
Weight down = 2 points woo hoo!
Exercise = 14 points (with all the snow this week, I did 3 hours Shovel & Sculpt)
Daily H2O = 7 points
Extra credit = 1 point - I've been tracking food & nutrition, exercise & weight loss on loseit.com. It's really helping me to be accountable to myself. As a motivational tool, they award you 'badges' when you reach certain milestones. So far I've earned the regular badge (log every day for two weeks), exercise buff (exercise at least 3x per week for two weeks), dedicated (log every day for four weeks), exercise hound (exercise at least 3x per week for four weeks), and the Ten Pound (weight loss) Club. Hokey but fun!
Total = 27
-
Badger--it may be hokey, but little rewards like that ARE fun, and motivating!

Hi Birdies, I've had a terrible cold this week. I can't remember the last time I had a cold and it came with such sinus pressure. And I can't tell you how many times I've sneezed. Aaa-choo. I've been walking around with a tissue box! But, after lots of chicken broth and rest, I think I'm on the mend. And I've been to two funerals this week. One for a 90 year old and one for a 20 year old.
Friday ~ 0
Water ~ 7
Weight Down (161.9) ~ 2
Exercise ~ 0 (Does coughing count?)
Total ~ 9
-
Patoo--I've been tracking and using 1 point for each 16 ounces.
Zogo--having a cold is NO FUN.Two funerals is not fun either.A 20 year old? That must have been unexpected.Coughing and sneezing should count as exercise!
-
hi ladies, Happy Sunday! ♥
Friday check-in = 0 points
Late check-in = 1 point
Weight up a bit = 0 points
Exercise = 12.5 hours = 25 points (edited - oops this should be 12.5 points not hours!)
Daily H2O = 7 points (patoo, I've been taking 1 point per day)
Extra credit = 1 point – celebrated wedding anniv with nice dinner, wine & dessert. Yes I am taking a point for blowing my diet!
Total = 34 21.5
-
Badger--GOOD FOR YOU for taking point for blowing your diet! You need to live, too!
-
Thanks, NM, my sentiments exactly!
Now I have to resist the Girl Scouts - it's cookie time here and they're EVERYWHERE!
-
I haven't had a Girl Scout cookie in years! Good thing nobody rang my doorbell. I used to have cravings for things like that, but I think I'm past it. I don't even walk down the cookie/chip aisle at the store. To me now, sugar is poison, and it doesn't even call my name anymore.
Friday ~ 3
Water ~ 7 (I get in about 100 oz/day)
Wt (162.2) ~ 0
Exercise ~ 4
Extra Credit ~ 1 I actually got out the P90X program and did the Chest and Back one. Mostly a bunch of push-up and Pull-up (for which I must use a chair to help) and Man was I sore! Also, I finally had my appointment with a Naturopathic doctor. It was very interesting. She thinks I may have leaky gut, so I will by trying some digestive enzymes.
Total ~ 15
Stay warm, it's brutal out there!
-
Friday Check in =3 points

Water Intake =3.5points

Yikes.Haven't been feeling so hot, tired and fighting a sinus infection, haven't been paying attention to eating or drinking, obviously I need to get back to do that! So, my "mini goal" is 8 points on water this coming week. That's 32 ounces 4 days of the week. Baby steps.
Zogo--Not even tempted to walk down the cookie aisle at the store? You are GOOD!It is definitely brutal out there, you'd think we'd burn lots of extra calories just staying warm!

If you saw/heard about a big pile up in Maine on Wednesday I was in the middle of it.End count is 75+, possibly 100 vehicles, only 4 serious injuries, no fatalities.I had gotten stopped, then got rear ended, hard, and pushed into the pile by subsequent hits.Totally terrifying.
Badger--Congrats on the new E-LAB low!
Zogo--Menopause is as good an excuse as any! Happy birthday and Happy Anniversary!
Patoo--Nice drop in the blood glucose! That's even more important than weight loss!
-
Wow NativeMainer - that's scary. So happy you are okay.
