Here's what cheezed me off today

I keep all hurtful people out of my life whenever possible. Doesn't matter if they are blood, long lost friend or effed up neighbor. I much prefer positive energy (other then getting some cheeze out now and then) :-)

I agree Rocky and Mommyof2 - best to keep the toxic people as far away as possible!!

Here's what is cheezing me off...I've been noticing my pinky and ring finger feel kind of tingly and numb. It's worse on my left hand, but I have it some on my right, too. It is off and on, but has been more regular recently. I have my 6 month appointment with the MO on the 29th and with the surgeon on Feb. 5th so I am going to ask about exercises to work out the muscles in my arms. I haven't done anything in a while since my range of motion has been good and I just figured I was done with having to do them. Hope this isn't long lasting and that it gets better!

HI, spookie - no, my left isn't my dominate hand, but I did start walking the dog on the leash recently and I walk her on the left side so I have had the leash around that hand first. I'm thinking that triggered it and then sitting at my computer all day on Tuesday at work didn't help either. I also had a really tight area under that arm after the surgery. It looked like the muscle was kind of twisted up. I was thinking it would be fine since over time it seemed to release. Did you have to do anything to make it go away? I've been so bad with arm exercises...I did them all the time right after surgery and for a while after to get that range of motion back, but then I thought I didn't need them anymore. Guess I was wrong!!

Mel, I am a left arm amputee, so when I walk my dog I clip her leash (with a caribiner) to a small purse which I carry over my shoulder. If she gets agitated or I need to control her more firmly, I just grab the leash with my right hand. The purse is also handy for a small supply of treats and of plastic bags. This has worked great for us.

Have you ever done a basic obedience class with pooch? PetsMart, Petco, shelters, community may have them. The pulling concerns me if it's hurting your arm. May want to think about that too.

Lulu, That would cheeze anyone! Do you have any idea when you'll be able to reschedule? Waiting is the pits, and having to wait even longer is worse. Good luck for good results when you finally get them.

My MOs office was right on the Intercoastal for the Gulf of Mexico. I started chemo at the height of hurricane season. I actually asked him what I should do if a storm washed his office away. Thankfully, I didn't have to find out.

Here is what cheesed me off - I went to my GP Tues for an ear infection and thought I would mention the pain in my side and said I felt I was ovulating but had been told by my MO that I shouldn't be because of being on Tomoxifen.  My gp pushed on my tummy I cringed in pain and he said I do not like this at all and sent me right away for a CT scan.

I got the results back on Thur- I have big ovarian cysts-- 7cm x5cm x 5 cm on both sides - No wonder I been hurting. Ultra sound on Monday and then referral to a OBGYN in the town 2 hours one way where the specialists are.

I am soooo pissed as I had mentioned it to MO months and months ago if not a year ago and he basically told me I was just thinking of my ovaries so that is why it was in my head and then he described what ovulation felt like. UMMM HELLO!!! How long has he ovulated?  Jerk jerk jerk - He totally ignored me, and told me I was basically crazy so I almost didn't mention it to my GP as the pain this month is worse but I have been getting used to it as I was told it could not be happening. GRRRRRRR... Good think that MO is back in Columbia or I would give him a nice talking to. I am so angry, I do not know if these are cancer or not so waiting alllll these months was NOT GOOD!!

I am so happy to have a GP who takes things seriously and believes I know my own body. He told me he thought the pain was to far up for the ovaries but then said you never know, which is correct as it is my ovaries but way big.. UFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

NDgirl, Maybe you can send a photo of those cysts to the MO. I think the first thing they should teach in med school is to listen to the patient. I've been waiting for the right occasion to post this:

Recovering nicely. Down to not having to take any pain meds as of yesterday. MO's office finally called me back to re-schedule.

Had to take a pain pill today and I didn't do anything that made it hurt!
