12/31- grateful for the practice of gratitude, this thread, and all of you to share my daily blessings with.
Happy New Year and be safe my people!
-
Thank you Jazzy!!!!
Today I am grateful that I have reached the age where common sense has value. We will not be drinking and driving this evening and neither will the children!
Have a happy and safe New Year's Eve my friends. :-)

-
LOL RedGrateful that I have the next four days off work.
Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!!!!
-
grateful you started this thread, Red, so I could acknowledge my blessings daily.
-
to start the new year:
-
Thanks for the reminder Maddy. I wanted to do this but had forgotten about it. I'll set it up when I get home from work.
Today I am grateful for a new year and an end to the old one. 2014 was a little rough and I am anticipating good things only from 2015.
Sharing a couple of pictures here.
My DH and I chose to spend New Year's Eve in the comfort of our own home. We enjoyed my new chocolate fountain and a really great Apple Pear Spritzer at midnight.Hope you all had a wonderful evening too.
-
1/1- happy New Year everyone. I am grateful for my lovely New Years Eve afternoon yoga practice yesterday, and to wake up to snow this morning. Moisture is always a good thing for us here in the desert.
2nd time- I remember seeing that jar and even posting it at one point in the past and thanks for the reminder. I am going to create one of those today!
Hoping everyone has a good day whether you are still celebrating, watching the Rose Bowl parade, or just hanging out with loved ones!

Just grateful to be alive in 2015 and for the treatments that have helped me, no doubt.
-
Red I love you even more cause I see the dog sleeping on the couch
Grateful for a wonderful morning shared with all my fitness addict friends at a 75 minute Body Combat class, there was a lot of hugging and kissing and well wishing before all the fighting.
-
2nd time- I made my blessing jar today for 2015! Thank you!
-
1/1: took my own advice and started my blessings/gratitude container (not a jar, but it will work)
-
I am grateful for the nice family day we had yesterday.
I am thinking to doing a twist on the jar. I get so many calendars in the mail that they just sit in a drawer or get tossed. I'm thinking of dedicating one as a 'Good Things Calendar' & jotting in something everyday.
-
Ruth that's a good idea too! Maddy, I made my jar and was surprised that my first note had 6 good things on it.
Today I am grateful for a sparkly day. The sun is shining and there is just enough of a breeze to blow little bits of snow off the trees sending them gently through the air in a shimmering display.
Have a great day ladies.
-
Grateful that my son is an IT guy and lives nearby. We just got new phones & I am going to need HELP!
-
1/2- grateful for a nice outing with a friend to have lunch and then trip to the local art museum to see a few exhibits before they leave this month.
Ruth- I love the idea of the gratitude calendar. I may do that too!

Onco I just got a second 'personal' email account but darned if I can remember what I used as a password, we've been free of spammers for a good while but I reported one the other day too he was selling passports and new IDs where do these people come from!
Grateful for a nice unexpected 'drop in' visit with a friend today
-
Red, this should really be titled A Year of Gratitude!
Onco, glad you're back!
1/1: grateful the weather was good for the Rose Parade, it may have been cool but not the fierce winds and rain we've had lately
1/2: grateful for the kindness and encouragement of complete strangers
-
Beautiful quote! Just copied it over to the Favorite Quotations thread.
-
glad you liked it. Thanks for pointing me to a new thread!
1/3: grateful I found keys to the truck that have been missing over a week
-
1/3- grateful for being able to sleep in for a change until 8 a.m.! Also grateful for a nice outing with a friend for lunch and a trip to the local art museum.
-
Grateful I have managed to get the kitchen cleaned and tidied.
