Still on for tomorrow! Looking forward to it too!!!

Hi all- I am no longer a relocated tarheel...I am back in Raleigh and just thrilled. Lots of stress...I am staying with my sister and her chaotic household while the hubby is still in Northern Va trying to ready the house for sale, keep us out of debtors prison, etc. :-) How is everyone doing?

I have a question- im a bit feeaked out. Yeaterday I started feeling a little pain on my right side where my tisue expander is. Its been in a year and there are always little pangs but this is a pain that was in the same place and kept eecrring. Today its almost constant...feels like a pulled muscle but obvoously I havent pulled a muscle under there. Do I call my plastic surgeon? The radiologist? My oncologist? Should I give it a few days?
-
Relocated,
Sorry to hear that! I'd say call breast surgeon's office on Monday, and possibly your primary care, unless the pain gets worse, and then call on call doc? Hope you feel better soon.
-
Relocated, I'm sure it's nothing serious, but placid's suggestion of calling BS on Monday is a good one. Hopefully they will be able to get you in soon to put your mind at ease.Thought a while back you mentioned you were moving back to NC?
Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet at the few Saturday lunches I was able to attend.
Take care, Paula

-
Today's luncheon is cancelled as it appears to be a bad date for everyone. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday and hope to see you in the next year!
-
Stopping in to wish everyone a wonderful holiday and Happy New Years! Thank you for sharing the past year.
If anyone is interested in meeting for lunch on either 01/03 or 01/10, let me know. We'll pick a location close to those coming.

Relocated, I'm in NC now at our OBX beach house through New Year's. Did you ever see a breast surgeon as you indicated you might about a month ago. Hope all is well. -

-
I'm a No Va gal. Still waiting on final results of my testing. i see most have been through treatment already. I hope all of you are doing well!
-
Jeepers, Welcome! Best of luck to you as you get your results and come up with a treatment plan. Please keep us posted on your progress. It all seems less overwhelming and more doable when you have a plan in place. Where in NOVA do you live? -
I am in Prince William County. What about you? I'm off for my mri today and then a little celebrating with my family. i don't know what i'm celebrating right now
maybe just the 'no-mans-land' of it all until i have to face the music. today, that is enough for me!! Happy New Years everyone!
-
Happy New Year Jeppers and everyone! Jeppers, I'm in Alexandria - hope to meet you at one of our Saturday get togethers, but Centreville bit far out for me. -
Welcome Jeepers! Glad you found us. I am next door in Centreville. Happy to meet you in Manassas sometime.
Sounds like February 7th works for everyone. Is Sweet Water Grill in Centreville to accommodate PeggySull' s request or maybe Coastal Flats in Fairfax Corner? I am completely open to any suggestions....
-
Hello, Jeepers. Welcome to the club that no one wants to be a member of! Depending on where you are in Prince William, I may be nearby. I'm up the road in Lorton.
-
Welcome Jeeper4! I was diagnosed during the holidays last year -- it was tough to celebrate anything. I live not too far in Herndon. This group is great for answering questions, especially about local doctors and treatment plans. Let us know any questions that you have.
-
Lorton isn't all that far from me - one of my sons and family live in Woodbridge. Maybe we should try a get together and if Saturdays are too busy, could try a different day?? -
I'm open. Plenty of restaurants and other of meeting places around Potomac Mills.
-
happy new year everyone! Welcome jeepers! Hope your test went ok !
I am open for Feb!
