Hello
Where is everyone????
-
i'm hanging - wishing the boobie spasms would quit.
-
Spent most of today reading and snoozing, nice way to spend a day. DH had to work so had the house all to myself. Love the P&Q after the chaos of Christmas with the family. Fun, though, the little kids get so excited and the adults all talking & laughing. Ducky, what a wonderful pic of your GGD in front of the Christmas tree! ♥ to all
-
Thanks Badger......thought she was so cute and in awe.
Well ladies I leave tomorrow for Chicago.....did trial .5 mg. Ativan today and it did "shit"......I could have driven cross country and never missed traffic light......what a joke......
If anything thinks that will tke my mind off of the fear of flying.....they are nuts......
So here I go again...........

Thanks Badger......thought she was so cute and in awe.
Well ladies I leave tomorrow for my flight to Chicago.....did trial .5 mg. Ativan today and it did "shit"......I could have driven cross country and never missed traffic light......what a joke......my fear has not changed since going by plane to the Chicago wedding 18 months ago.......
That small mg is ridiculous and if anyone thinks that will takemy mind off of the fear of flying.....they are nuts......
So here I go again...........
-
U will b fine, have fun. We will talk.
-
Ducky, I agree with you as far as Ativan. Doesn't do much for me either. I'd give you some of my leftover Valium or Compazine if I could. Have a fantastic time in Chicago.
-
Ducky. ...Have a safe trip, and wonderful.time away !!
-
I'm up its a little early 7am..running the diswaher through.....talking to my wonderfl friends while I wait for it to get done. If I attempt a shower at the same time I will burn my sorry ass.......
I will be taking my Ipad, so will get in touch with you all sometime while I'm there........would be happy to just go back to bed and stay there.........in no mood for going anywhere......just not feeling like myself lately..........
Plus have to wrap the lymphedema arm...............and of course the person checking me in at the airport will think I have an AK47 shoved up inside the bandages and will give me a hard time........while I stand the with no shoes on, and my shit thrown in a bin which to me looks like a recycled dish pan................which when I was a kid my mother would stand over me and yell,, you better get those dishes done or your gonna be crying instead of laughing in there..................
The sunrise is beautiful, but I woud still rather see it from down here then out of an airplane window...............will never be a traveler..........
Hugs you ladies,,...........as I go off into the "wild blue yonder"........love you all
-
OMG....here we go again......
-
((Ducky)) I love to fly. As a senior citizen, you should not have to take off your shoes. Prob too late to tell you that for today's flight but hopefully the TSA will be reasonable. Bon Voyage and Vaya con Dios! ♥
-
Petrified........tried .5 Ativan........did shit........only thing I got out of that was dizzy.........great considering I have to walk from one end of the airport to he other....no don't say wheechair or Golfcart
My very unsympathetc daughter says "you can use the exercise"..........LOL.........bye.....
-

Love 2 HAVE GUN
-
More than one ativan, maybe?
-
Ducky, Hope your flight goes smoothly... and much, much better than you anticipate.
-
_( ~ .~)_
-
Ducky.. Looking forward to hearing how the flight went.. Thinking of you !!
-
My Pilot said HI............LMAO.
-
-
WTG Ducky!
-
Excellent, Ducky!! -
Nice, Ducky!
-
Ducky, love the photo!
I didn't even know you were in the skies overhead! I am sure you will say it was all worthwhile. And if you want a "ride" to the gate, just go and arrange it. You will end up at the same place on the plane...just do it your way. These airports are huge.
I will have to ask you where in Chicago when you have time...my DS goes back tomorrow - he lives right on the Chicago River at State Street - can't be more downtown than that.
Sorry about your dear little pup...so cute...I hope it all works out well.
The photo of your great-grandchild in front of the tree is amazing...it captures the spirit of the season. It should be next year's Christmas card...Christmas was a whirlwind...always is. I was up very late fixing the tree - for a bunch of adults. But I always do. Then I had to clean the kitchen from top to bottom as everyone else fell asleep.
I spent Christmas afternoon in CT - got home at midnight. DH sick so I had to drive and almost fell asleep.
Back to CT on Saturday for DD's visit from Boston area. Dh stayed home. Had lots of grandkids time.
Today? I am lounging in bed for awhile. I never get to do this...Lots of things thrown into the fire...some things are so out of control...hoping for a miracle for those involved with the wrong people.
Poppy, so sorry to hear about DS but your news is promising. He sounds focused on being well...sending hugs and prayers for you.
Badger, your dessert presentation sounds amazing!
Gma, so so glad about that good path report. Yay!! Hope you will soon be feeling better.
Blondie, so tough to be with your kids when something just isn't right...I hope and pray you had a little Christmas spirit in your heart...and that you enjoyed your grandkids.
Jo, wherever you are, I hope you are enjoying the season...
Time to get those resolutions ready...or, even better, just throw stuff that isn't working in our lives into the fire.
Love u all! -
Joan.. My goodness you have been.Busy.!! You deserve your time lounging in bed.. You should spend the whole day there.!!
Said day yesterday.. Our beautiful Maltese dog went to Heaven.. She was 16, had a good life, but still so.very sad.. Trying to.stop.her little mate , our Papillion, from fretting over her too much..
