Hi foots hru, awesome, love it,
Hey jen
-
JWoo- that article is about perjeta (sp?) and it only works if you are Her2 + (positive) otherwise it doesn't. Bummer seems to do a good job. Great for the gals that are ER-PR- Her+ and won't help the triple negatives either. Have a wonderful trip in England!! Show pics when you return.
Popped my ballot in the box today. Can't believe I voted to legalize pot for adults.. never thought I would see that. Sick of spending $$ on police to put away some one with one joint. Go catch murderers and rapists; spend the $ on that. Some of our political choices were ick and ugh! Even the papers wouldn't choose! I refuse to answer the phone until Wednesday... enough already. Things are improving slowly.
Hugs to all. Be well and have a good week.
-
Tanga I too have the ringing ear and headaches I think it is the AI meds. it bothers me before bed. Still taking the AI my onco told me to take vitamin b12. So far no change.
-
Morning gals! The political thing is almost OVER! If I get ONE more robo-call, I'm going to ..... oh wait.... that reminded me to take the phone out of the microwave....
So okay, yes, it DOES have a dead battery from staying in there ON all night... but nobody could call..... HAH! I'm not going to say here in public what I really think about ALL the candidates..... Because right now I don't like ANY of them.... they don't like each other either, so why should I? Nope, I didn't vote. First time....
They are not behaving... All the ads and phone calls and mailings are just about how bad the OTHER guy is! So since I am neither a Democrat or Republican, but an Independent, I therefore am choosing to be independent and not vote...
Independently speaking that is.....
-

Ah HAH! I've been trying all morning.... (almost) to try and copy a picture from the fuzzy thread, and I DID it!
-
-
Chevy, no better way to start the morning!
-
Had a rather interesting start to my morning, the cat almost jumped in the shower with me! Silly kitty!
-
We had a cat who would jump into the tub after we took a shower. Turned out he liked to drink from the running faucet.
-

Hello to all......
Jwoo, enjoy your adventure. I have been to Europe, a few countries, but not to London. Yes, if possible photos. Love travel pics.
I am still working on the house, arrrggg, it's getting old. We will list it next week. I am heading to Vegas on Thurs. I have a family baby shower to go to on Sat. ( A few hours past Vegas ) Good excuse for a getaway. My DD & friend are also going. 4 nights in LV. I am not a huge fan of the craziness, but it will be much warmer, good food, a little shopping. We are looking at going to a show. I do not gamble, so that is not a fun factor.
I think ( & worry ) about all when I am scrubbing. I got to call a cleaning service to help!
Have a good Tuesday.....

Jwoooooooitiehootie, You probably won't see this, I once called my son and said I got some unexpected money did he want to go to Paris. His response was "I hated Paris, but I loved London" It had to do with the people. Parisians didn't treat them well, but everyone they had contact with in London did
........ He had taken the typical post high school trip to Europe.Tang How you doing? I was on kindle last night difficult to type. It does however keep the responses short and to the point. Our lives change from the first BC problem phone call. It will never change. How we manage it is the difference. When something new happens, work out an attack plan. The worry of the unknown just drains us too much. Truly, worry stress, sets us up for all sorts of other problems. It's very hard work pushing the worry aside. You are doing something to find out the cause----that's your attack plan. Go, girl
Tang all your symptoms may simply be an inner ear infection. I know it's hard not to think the worst. ATIVAN
Nettie, not sure if tinnitus is inheritable. But IT is common. Very common. The causes can be different. You have got the important things to diagnose the problem set up MO & ENT.
Tang and Nettie, one important description that may not necessarily be asked about tinnitus. Do you sense it as being on one side versus both sides. In the initial phase of evaluating tinnitus this is VERY important. If the tinnitus becomes a permanent thingy--the quality I,e crickets, buzzing, white noise, roaring.--The intensity i.e soft to loud, will change often.
If the tinnitus is sensed as being one sided at the onset, that will win you an MRI. It's a ruleout for a special problem----don't assume anything.
Thyroid issue>>>>>>went from severely hypothyroid caused by the steroids for the bottom issue>>>to severely hyperthyroid. Positive I lost 6 lbs and I'm warm
Don't think I've ever been warm based on how toasty I feel. Trying to stabilize anything with the steroids is a serious cluster snafu. On the list of suggestions for anyone hypo or hyper------avoid coffee. It makes all the s.e's much worse. I hate learning this stuff the hard way.Rose, Kaci Hickox is the nurse that had a temp identified when she was disembarking a plane in Newark New Jersey. Within a short time her temp was normal. She's a redhead. Redheads bodies do strange things. I said adrenaline in my previous post , but it's way more complicated than that, it's genetics. The officials in NJ didn't get that she wasn't ill and her virus screen was negative. She was quarantined. She had to fight for her freedom. Govenor Christi was a total ass. Then the governor of Maine didn't manage it well either. In the long run there was a court battle.
The court battle was positive in the sense that the judge did an excellent job in defining constitutional right's and the governments right to protect the population. It wasn't perfect. But it was better than what previously existed.
Govenor Christi's legacy in this is, he as head of the state government of New Jersey showed the world how prepared NJ was too manage Ebola patients. They put her in a tent in a parking lot, in October, in New Jersey. She had a Port-a-Potty, no shower, no running water----looked third world too me! This guy has been vetted as a presidential prospect for 2016. Right----a tent in a parking lot.
The media didn't castigate him for this. It was talked about, but should have been given more press. Not presidential material from my viewpoint. Showed major lack of leadership. He didn't prepare his state, he didn't define management of cases, then breached the Constitution. He was very knee-jerk about the whole thing. Very confrontational.

Everyone--- Badger just wanted you to know she's going to be out of touch for a bit because of technology and traveling. She sends her love
-
