INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

Cami, Mags & Chevster, pick one out....

I just love getting up and seeing how you guys talked to each other last night!
I LOVE the canes HiHo! Yes, a girl needs spares, for when I can't find the one I was USING! They should be parked in different locations! For getting up from sitting is the worst! I try and act like normal, but it takes a minute for that leg to realize I NEED it to help out a little!
My Grandma got in trouble at her Assisted Living place one time... They all had to go down to their dining room for meals, and some dumb gal.... or a couple reported her for whacking their legs with a cane under the table. She could be such a rebel sometimes.... I think she had "issues" with them.
So I was asked to talk to her about her cane-smacking table manners.... I just told her "Grandma, it would be better if you didn't smack those women with your cane sometimes." She just said "I don't do that." ..... But at least they didn't move her to an empty table.
I LOVED last night! Those little kids were soooooo cute! Little Ivy and Ellie came first, with Nick their HOT Daddy...! Ellie tripped getting in our house, and her plastic pumpkin HIT the floor, I thought OH NO! But she just scrambled up... They took a hand-full each... But we had so much fun seeing those kids! We only got about 30 I think.... Lots of candy left over...
Peppermint, that was funny what you said to Spookie! About "Bless your heart".... You forgot pea-pickin' heart... Ha! It was her wrist... And how come you are in a wheel-chair again? Did I miss something again, or forgot? And so that shouldn't keep you from a romp in the hay once in awhile.... just don't put the wheel chair in bed with you! It ALWAYS gets in the way... even a walker! A cane is probably fine... but not that other stuff. Just tell DH to put those damn scrubs on again, and you go watch something on your computer that is slightly porno-like, and then go scrambling into bed and say "Come here Doctor boy"..... Tell him you need fixin'...!
Oh, now watch, I will get comments about THAT, I suppose.
Morning Meow! I hope I don't shock you or anything.... See, I'm "older" so I get a free pass once in awhile.....
Cammers, are you feeling better? I see you put together a complete sentence, of which I am proud of you! Did you get a cane yet? You will see how much better it is to walk... without pain! Yes, you could glue streamers and sparkles on it! And paint your name with nail polish... Just paint "I'm Easy".... like they used to call you.... Or was it "midnight cowgirl?" Oh wait.... that was me....
Teka, Foots, and Rosie & Peppermint were all up last night... talking about stuff... I love that.
Sass, sounds like you are running normally again.... Hot water is always a "good thing".... like Martha would say. And you said something else that I don't have a clue about, but you are on the last page, and I can't look right now...
-
Spookie got her name because: her birthday is Halloween, Maltese are supposed to have hair to the floor. She did. So I thought she would look like a pint size white haired Cousin It.
-
gm - Chevy I don't know what to say. Blushing. The dang back pain is the sex problem. No I am NOT in a wheelchair. Just back causes a lot of pain when I walk much or esp stand. So no way could have I walked all those many blocks. I don't want to be one of those parents driving along the trick or treaters. So a friends moms wheelchair worked best. And since we dressed up it wasn't too embarrassing for me or my db's. Tons of laughter with adult friends and loved loved watching my db's having a blast.

*Owlettes*

If only I looked as good.

For all our insomniacs!

My purple cast
-
Oh Spookie! I'm so sorry! Now you have to buy a whole new purple wardrobe! You could pin ribbons and glue sparkles and streamers on it! Like Cammi would! I mean me. Is that your front porch? It is so pretty! And you with your Palm Trees! And me with my muck-luks.
-
-
Talked to my mom this morning and she told me that she is able to move the fingertips on the hand that she had surgery on recently. I told her when the cast comes off and the pins come out to get a nerf type ball to work with on getting the flexability back in the fingers.
-
MoMom.... Tell me again, what surgery did they do on your Mom's hand.... I'm sorry, I missed that completely. I'm glad she is getting feeling back in her fingertips! Yes, those little balls really help your hands! My MIL used one for her arthritic hands....
-
that's my back deck. DH put in outside shower for after yard work😄 comes in real handy.
Chilly here Tonite, 48. We've had gale force wind all day
-
