Grateful to get in a good walk today and work up a sweat after being sidelined by a nasty asthma attack two weeks ago.

Glad you're on the road to recovery Nel.

Grateful my friends DH was released from the hospital, considering two nights ago he was in dire straights today is a glorious gratitude kind of day.

Grateful today that I seem to have crawled out of the basement of my mind. Hope is once again rearing it's lovely head.

Nel, glad your surgery was successful and that you are almost pain-free.

Cheryl, what a turnaround for your friends DH. It's wonderful.

Ruth, inspirational quotes are so... inspiring. sorry, but I couldn't think of a better word.

Jazzy, yay to finishing your course.

    Onco, correspondence?

Continue to be grateful for a relatively easy recovery from foot surgery.  Post Op today and all is well!  Off all pain killers. Surgeon says neuropathy assists in not feeling any pain .  So a yay for neuropathy, I guess!  A back handed benefit of chemotherapy.

Grateful for a painless puncture today to collect blood for testing so it can be determined why I continue to have leg craps every night during my sleep.

Grateful that I don't have to cook tonight (we are going to a potluck dinner and I am bringing dessert....which I never make for just us so it was kind of fun).

honey, you could also try eating a banana every day and/or drinking a glass of tonic water (with or without the gin Smile), both also can help with leg cramps.

    Onco  - beautiful!

Grateful this am for the house to myself, a foot that is healing and most importantly - my son's friend had a seizure here last night - never had one before. My son handled himself so maturely and his friend will be OK (Thank goodness) He has a medical issue that will need to be taken care of, but got transferred to the right hospital.  Glad I was home with foot healing to support my son,he would have done great, but still glad I was here

    Happy November 1st!

    Nel

Onco and Ruth, I have a bar of unscented ivory under my sheet and am drinking tonic water, but since I had my blood test, have had 2 nights cramp-free.  My changes are stretching legs before bedtime and adding magnesium at night to night time meds.  Must be working.   Since I did not receive a call from my MO's office, I must be okay.   Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.

    Yikes Nel, that was scary!

Honey, glad that the legs are behaving.

Friday: Our favorite Chinese restaurant shut down & relocated in a town 30 miles away (dispute with landlord & better business opportunity), last night we were so hungry for their food, we jumped in the car & drove over & am grateful for our very delicious dinner & a chance to visit with the family that owns the restaurant, who are delightful people.

Today: grateful that I was able to some semi-reasonable plane tickets, and we are booked to visit my sister's family on the East Coast in December

Today I am grateful that I got to see all the little kidlings in their costumes before heading out to an Alice Cooper concert last night. The kids costumes were great and Alice can still rock the house. My hubby got a golf hat signed by Alice - Rick's very pleased as he admires him in the Pro-Am Golf Classic. Yes Alice Cooper golfs - quite well actually.

Grateful today to find a Christmas present I was asked for on sale - $64.99 down to $39.99. A $25 savings I can  always appreciate.

Nel, good for your son for keeping a cool head in the face of an emergency. This is a good thing to know about our children.

Ruth, I did the same sort of drive for very good and decently priced Chinese food, so I can understand you getting in the car and going. A bonus that you got to spend some time with the owners.

Honey I was going to suggest magnesium as that is what my DD (the nurse) told me, but it didn't work for me so I didn't. I am glad that it worked for you.

Mommy, we turned our heat on a couple weeks ago. Yesterday, like Onco, we woke up to snow and cold winds!

Have a nice relaxing Sunday everyone.

    Deb

Grateful for another wonderful Sunday at my little church down the street which I lovingly refer to as" the little church with the big heart" because of its emphasis on outreach giving in the community.
