Wren I have to get it decorated but I never thought about my cat, she's so skiddish about so many silly things. This should be interesting. for her and me. U know I feel like I'm giving in by getting a cane instead of helping me. I wish I could get over this stupid feeling. And t is stupid. LOL

I have been BUSY....getting the house ready to sell has taken over my life. DH will never see the stuff that needs to be done, not in his nature. I bought a new shower curtain rod, that came with a nice curtain ( Costco ) thinks it silly to spend $ on updating stuff.....DD tells him what's what... She is blunt as they come. Tells me all the time "your clothes are too big & baggy". 

I am going to go back & try to catch up....

Patty P, have a great time with your boys tonight. Get a heated throw or blanket as warm as it will get. Take it, so you can start toasty. If you stop somewhere, plug your self in for a few minutes. I bought a heated throw yesterday at Costco for $24. They have them on sale, $6 off.

went to ortho, it's broken. In a hard purple cast for 5 weeks

Cami, my great grandfather made this cane.  I've used it, it really helps. Better than wall walking!

Today is Spookies birthday. She is 5! I can't get her shirt on with this cast. It says I'm the birthday girl. She and Kris will have s special cookie later

Aw sheesh!  It IS broke!  Hope it's not your right hand...  I could never do my hair, OR make-up!  I would be banished to the damn house!  I'm sorry Spookie!

Okay and Cammi, little honey, yes, we must use a cane.... but only when we walk....   I bought my flowered one from King Soopers!  I think for about $15!   But I bought another one at Ross, for only $10, and it is one of those ones you see on TV, that has like 3 little suction .... no, they are not suction cups.... they are 3 feet, and it will stand by itself....  Also has a light, for when we want to go out at night in the alley....!  You know for "work"????   But I like my plain flowered pink one better, because ..... I don't know why.  The other one will fold up.... 

You could lay your cane on the bed, and lay there with Katy-Kat, so she won't be afraid, or use it slowly, like right next to your leg.  I notice when I use it more, my back doesn't hurt....  But when you limp, or walk bent, it hurts your other parts....  So go get a damn cane! 

Spookie, I love that cane!  I also have my Grandma's.... It's a little twisted wooden one... 

And Spookie looks like a Princess!  Ha! 

Rosie, I just have on a Christmas sweat shirt, and my pants!  But I have the Halloween decorations on the front porch.... just waiting for the little gremlins! 

And wait...... Mags?  You FELL?  Oh for God's sakes!  You weren't even pole dancin' or nothing?  I have to go read it....  You should copy and past that post here... but it's okay.... I'll go read it.

Did you hurt anything?  On you?  My DH tripped on a rug that was folded inside the door at the store today, and as he was trying to fall, he threw his hand out, and it came down on my arm, and now I have a black, purple, and  blue  bruise on my arm!   But at least he didn't fall....  I am so used to looking where I am walking now! 

Sass!  Come back when you got everything fixed!  These broken things drive me nuts....  I just hate to even THINK about something breaking down!  And those guys I sent you are so hard to find nowadays!   Hour DDDBBBBFFFF is skinny?  Is that attractive?  Can't you fatten him up a bit?   THEN post a picture of him....

Funny you should mention almond joys... My 13 year old just traded a bunch of candy she didn't like for Almond joys which she loves! We are still getting a ton of adorable little kids! One little boy suddenly bent down and dramatically came back up. I wondered what is this little guy doing? Mom pitched - "he's transforming!" But of course! Hey what do I know being a dumb 56 year old? I had one preschooler jump up and down shouting "me pick!" So I let her and she was most gracious, took one and shouted "thank you!" Being little she had a BIG voice! Loved it. I think I have as much fun watching and listening to the kids as they do going out. Yep supporting our dentists! Had one kid with a zipper down his face and the most amazing make-up.. totally disgusting and very real looking. Yep I love Halloween. Won't turn off the light until 9:30 catch the last of the teenagers.

Sometimes I just stretch out in bed and give my butt a break from the recliner and computer chair.
