100 Days of Gratitude

Grateful for another beautiful day here in New England - Mommy - maybe another day of flip flops
red - Ah yes I have an almost , next month, 21 year old son. Notice I did not say he was maturing! Wierd noises in the living room last night - him blowing rasberries on his girlfriend. Really just really. The only signs of maturing - he he girlfriend is a gem, but far more into him than he is to her. There is a world of hurt coming her way at some point. But not my problem!!

Greatful that my mom said that I didn't need to make the two hour trip to be there for the surgery on her hand Monday. I'll be thinking about her until I hear from her

10/17: grateful I was well enough to get out of the house today
10/18: grateful for cool, fall day. Also grateful for advance warning that electricity will be cut off 10 PM tonight, scheduled to be back on 6 AM. I've lost track, this is at least the 5th time in the past couple of months electricity shut off for maintenance. This is getting really old. At least it's cool enough not to require AC

Grateful for an afternoon spent with about 30 of my very extended family followed by a pot luck dinner.
Jazzy, I would like a clean house, can I borrow your lady? Just teleport her over please.
Onco, you play chess? I just tick people off when I play. They have these great strategies all worked out and I ruin it all just because I like the way my knight moves or I felt like my bishop wanted to go here.
Mommy, I agree that it's pretty, but you know what follows fall?
-
Yep, but I look forward to snow until at least late Jan.-early Feb and then I'm crying for spring!
-
10/19- grateful to be going to a conference tomorrow I have been looking forward to all year!
-
10/19: grateful that the power outage scheduled to begin at 10 last night for maintenance actually didn't start until almost midnight. Since I took a long nap yesterday, wasn't tired so I was in bed for hours trying to sleep. Didn't hear any household noises when the power came back on around 7 AM. Hoping this is the last one.
